Hey! This means a lot to me. Just a quick note to say thanks a ton for reviewing my gameplay footage! Your feedback and other videos have been super helpful, and I really appreciate it! I am so glad you asked for new footage and you could see a different play style I've been trying out recently. I’ve seen some great improvement thanks to your tips, and I’m excited to keep getting better. Your support means a lot! Cheers, TBoneX
omg i just realized i follow you in the game, really clean xiaoyo, almost tempted to quit the game because of kazuya and dragunov and haworong or whatever his name. these characters are driving me insane
One piece of advice against Bryan. Be careful with b4, 1. You can be launched if he blocks it😉 an maybe on your game against heihachi when he was low health, you tried b4, 1 to kill him which is risky. I think that small jabs etc... are safer and can still make you with the round 👍
@@gothreaper7868 you never quit and learn your way up. there are different levels of knowledge checks you need to cross on your ranked journey. Play more against hard characters to learn the match up knowledge and their strings. Or head over to lounge/session to find players to spar against. Most of them are really nice out there.
@@sylehu7056 With Bryan the higher ranks punish really hard. Over here most didn't so I just went ahead using it time to time. With heihachi he was in plus frames iirc and I tried b1. It's still fun getting almost there :).
I learned a lot from this. The most important thing is different regions have different skill over ranks distribution. I'm Rajin and there's no way those plays (with all due respect to TBoneX - good matches and thanks for providing your replays) work in my matches. I get punished for Moonhare Palm every time. Like, every. time. and it's incredibly rare for someone to duck after heat engage and take F2,1,2
Glad you learned a lot~! The region thing is real and also their personalities in game or not. When you are getting punished with b4,1 a lot, use it sparingly and try to only use it if you need a fast attack OR you know that the enemy is at -13 and above that's the thing after the heat engage haha don't be jailed with just 2,1,2...try out other stuff 😉
Yep~! Sometimes, a lot of people (including me) share the same bad habits that doesn't let us grow in our gameplay. Also, removing 1 bad habit is BIG sooo don't worry if you haven't erased most of them yet haha
for the too many wall hits part i don't think many player know about it. i only learnt it from you in one of the reply. i think it will be helpful that when explaining too many wall hit, what it mean. i think you have that covered in the road to pheonix video but it's probably helpful as a reminder. those hidden mechanic isn't that obvious to lot of players
btw at 40:59 the 3+4 jump kick from ground. what are the options Xiaoyu have? i quite often felt there isn't much option for a follow up (in term of continue pressuring opponents) let say you know the opponent love to use 3+4 what are you default options you will try to punish that move? i tried few different ways but sometime it felt a bit hit and miss
yeah he is right, it will really depend on the distance the closer you are, the higher it's +frames for you will be you can create some setups that will make it into +21, but a 1,d2 would be the safest one if you block any distance

@@TBoneX1 You will make it ;-) Nice combat against the Jin by the way.
It is always very interesting to have these players gameplay analysis. I love this series

Great vid. Can't wait for the next one. I've corrected a lot of the bad habits you've covered. Not all though lol.

True, I realized more watching the review that its a thing!
I will be doing a vid that will explain that haha

I think the timestamp's messed up haha can you correct that? I don't wanna guess haha
@SilantroTekken oh probably 39:20 like near the end
