    Cool that we've got Easy Serbian now! I feel like I could learn this language, since I've studied Russian and I noticed some similarities.

    • @user-en2co6mq6m

      Michał Muszyński Cyrillic is the only oficial one. If someone want to learn Chinese, Arabic, Russian..they need to learn their alphabet. If you, for example, want to learn Chinese you wont say to a Chinese "Can you write you language with Latin alphabet so I can better understand" , no, you will learn their alphabet because it is a part of their language. The same is with Serbian :)

    • @Slim14700
      @Slim14700 7 ปีที่แล้ว +6

      OK, I know what you mean, but cyrillic is not the only one used in Serbia. I'm reading Serbian newspapers and all of them are in latin alphabet, so...? And for languages like Arabic or Chinese there is something called romanization, literal translation to latin alphabet. I know how to read cyrillic because I learned it but I have to focus more on what is written than on what is said there.

    • @user-en2co6mq6m
      @user-en2co6mq6m 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Michał Muszyński I know what you mean, too. I think it is good that there is more Cyrillic so people wont forget it. Latinic was used in Yugoslavia next to Cyrillic, and when the Yugo countries became independed Latin stayed here as a second script, but it is not official.

    • @saralampret9694
      @saralampret9694 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@user-en2co6mq6mn Bosnia and Croatia they don't use it and since it is the same language Latin alphabeth could have been included. It is different to know letters or read fast and it doesn't make sense to me to focus too much on learning script.

      @@mladenzrnic2669 yeah but it is a nationalistic nonsense to write just in cyrilic because in two other countries THE SAME LANGUAGE IS SPOKEN and it is written IN LATIN. P.s. Slavonija used to be Slovenija before so it doesn't have Serbian origins but it's sweet to think so. This is why in Slavonija they a lot of Slovenian words these days. However truth to be told the core of Croatian nowadays is Croatian/Serbian/Bosnian/Montengerin language which are dialects of the same language using Two Different Scripts(!). Hint: one of them is way easier for the majority of students ...

      @@saralampret9694 Ever since the Sevi existed, there has also been the Serbian Cyrillic alphabet, no one will prevent us from writing in Cyrillic, not even you. If you are Chinese, and you write with Chinese characters, am I going to defend you to write and speak in your language in your country or when you go to live in another country.
