I am just... blown away. Ive been a vocaloid listener since 2007 and this is seriously underrated with how damn clear the tuning is this song. Imo one of the best if not the best english tuning that I have ever listened to.
You know, you’re like a mystical creature to me. Your name pops up everywhere in the vtuber community, from mere recommendations to being the composer of vtuber BGM or even covers. I had no idea 52 hearts, end of a life, Asahina Chie’s BGM, and so much more were all composed by the same person, yet it all makes sense now. Which leads me to this moment. As someone who has made a thousand covers with Eleanor Forte I am absolutely blown away, I did not realize it was Eleanor singing until I checked the description. This Composition is incredibly beautiful too. I had even seen the art for this on Twitter without knowing it was for an MV, and the same mystical feeling of encountering your name has come to me again. Pretty Patterns, you rock. I come back to this piece every now and then, I cant help myself. It has such a unique tone to it. Something that I didnt notice back 7 months ago but more so on continued listening is how the tone itself shifts throughout. From peaceful to melancholic to in a way giving of a threatening vibe even close to the end. Paired with the image, it almost feels like someone, an astronaut in outer space actually meeting a cosmic being, disguising itself as a peaceful presence only for the camera switch to black as the song ends, leaving the ending of the event up to interpretation. It works in favor of the song as its story is similar already. Leaving earth behind, leaving a world of pain and stress. Here you are free. Only peace awaits but is it freedom? Do you truly want to stay? Is is truly peace? Will you be happy? Or is whatever is communicating with you actually a threat in turn that is trying to lure you in similar to the Sirens of old Myth? Patterns, if you should see this comment like you seen my last one a few months back, could you possible share your thought process on this piece? Hi there, sorry for the super late reply, it's been a little hectic HAHA Thank you for the super kind and detailed message to begin with About the track, it's a little bit difficult to answer precisely when it comes to intent and meaning, but there's a few things to that : - First of all, the whole piece was inspired by Tayu's artwork ! The full Ataraxia series is based off of her own characters and illustrations so for this one, i didn't have much information to go about, so i just tried to "translate" the feeling that the artwork was giving me but through music ! So there's this supernatural interaction that feels really warm, the beauty of space but also the freezing cold out there From there i started imagining a sort of storyline going on with these 2 characters which i've continued through the next songs Fun fact is that i ended up talking to Tayu much more after this released, explaining my ideas and thought process as she did the same, only to realize we were pretty much on the same page for most of it without interacting much beforehand haha, so yeah i'd say it's her artwork that really built the whole thing ! I hope this answers some of your questions, there's still a lot that i'd like to keep up for interpretation but that was how it came to be :D

Seeing the full version of this is AMAZING. Being able to produce this OST with just this cracked artwork as a baseline just boggles my mind on how creative everybody can be. You know, you’re like a mystical creature to me. Your name pops up everywhere in the vtuber community, from mere recommendations to being the composer of vtuber BGM or even covers. I had no idea 52 hearts, end of a life, Asahina Chie’s BGM, and so much more were all composed by the same person, yet it all makes sense now.
Which leads me to this moment. As someone who has made a thousand covers with Eleanor Forte I am absolutely blown away, I did not realize it was Eleanor singing until I checked the description. This Composition is incredibly beautiful too. I had even seen the art for this on Twitter without knowing it was for an MV, and the same mystical feeling of encountering your name has come to me again.
Pretty Patterns, you rock. Thank you for all the music, and I look forward to continuing to see you everywhere I go, in the places I least expect it.

Also, the art is what inspired me to make the track, so you were right that it wasn't meant for the music to begin with, i asked permission to Tayu-san to use it as a main source of inspiration, and they kindly agreed to it :D

Yeah I’ve heard most of your tracks and found them in the most random places, like random peoples’ chill playlists, BGMs, TH-cam recommendations, Twitter, etc. Your sound is really recognizable, especially your piano. As a pianist it never ceases to amaze me how unique peoples’ playing can be, yours included.
Your Eleanor settings are awesome! It indeed works, and it sounds really different from the usual Eleanor. The artist is so good so I’m glad you also feel the inspiration to create when you see their work.

Its so funny though for real haha, i think i just got lucky enough to have opportunities working with very different people, which helps to put your work around some more. It's really weird in a way cause i always wanted to have this "recognizable sound" so i'm really glad i got that now, as long as it's not something too repetitive lol
When it comes to Eleanor, i really wanted to have her sound kind of unique in a way ? Really got inspired by Ippo.tsk's music tbh, his stuff is amazing if you have time to check him out (Taste the rain & Oyasumination are some of my favs)

I come back to this piece every now and then, I cant help myself. It has such a unique tone to it. Something that I didnt notice back 7 months ago but more so on continued listening is how the tone itself shifts throughout. From peaceful to melancholic to in a way giving of a threatening vibe even close to the end. Paired with the image, it almost feels like someone, an astronaut in outer space actually meeting a cosmic being, disguising itself as a peaceful presence only for the camera switch to black as the song ends, leaving the ending of the event up to interpretation.
It works in favor of the song as its story is similar already. Leaving earth behind, leaving a world of pain and stress. Here you are free. Only peace awaits but is it freedom? Do you truly want to stay? Is is truly peace? Will you be happy? Or is whatever is communicating with you actually a threat in turn that is trying to lure you in similar to the Sirens of old Myth?
Patterns, if you should see this comment like you seen my last one a few months back, could you possible share your thought process on this piece? Id love to know more about what went through your head when making it.

About the track, it's a little bit difficult to answer precisely when it comes to intent and meaning, but there's a few things to that :
- First of all, the whole piece was inspired by Tayu's artwork ! The full Ataraxia series is based off of her own characters and illustrations so for this one, i didn't have much information to go about, so i just tried to "translate" the feeling that the artwork was giving me but through music !
So there's this supernatural interaction that feels really warm, the beauty of space but also the freezing cold out there
From there i started imagining a sort of storyline going on with these 2 characters which i've continued through the next songs
Fun fact is that i ended up talking to Tayu much more after this released, explaining my ideas and thought process as she did the same, only to realize we were pretty much on the same page for most of it without interacting much beforehand haha, so yeah i'd say it's her artwork that really built the whole thing !
I hope this answers some of your questions, there's still a lot that i'd like to keep up for interpretation but that was how it came to be :D
I'm listening to that on the loop for 2 weeks now and your music somehow brought me back hope in humanity. (Also I was shocked by the fact this is a vocaloid, this is too impressive for me to process properly), hope you'll have a good professional growth or something)

I just found this song today, while i've heard some of your other songs and I personally think they are all extremely well written, as a writer and as a musician. I am literally jealous of how good this writing is, it's so simple but yet it conveys the message its portraying very well, I won't talk about the message specifically since it's to each persons interpretation. But please continue to make works like these, truly amazing, it deserves all the praise it has gotten.
