I think you are the only guy who is really honest about xiaomi products like mi phones and tabs and in general also you are one of those very rare tech reviewers who is very very honest about the phones and tabs which i appreciate alot in you, i don't understand why some people on yt bash xiaomi phones and tabs, i mean xiaomi phones are so good, so on point and so value for money an average guy will not quite notice and won't give a shit about if the phone has ads or if the os like miui is heavy they just want a smooth working phone which xiaomi provides almost every single time and almost in every budget segment so it's a winner for me but some people bash it and say it's not worth it which i don't get, like for a budget of 20k are you expecting them to give you a car or what? 😂, i don't know if it is true but
The only thing that bothers me makes me skeptical of buying xiaomi phones or tabs is that i have heard and seen on news that xiaomi phones silently and secretly sends the user data to their servers in Malaysia and singapore thats the only problem with xiaomi i think other than that they really make good phones and tabs which i really love using

months of owning this tab it still works as well as the day I unboxed it, solid performance, can do basic word, presentation, sheets and pdf reader.
screen still looks great. keyboard works great but I do wish it had a touchpad as well, pen is fine though I haven't used it as much.
quad speakers sound fine for media consuming, mics are fine as well it picks up my voice even if I am not close to the tablet.
Gaming I totally beat this tablet up grinding auto play games. some resource intensive games it shows its age especially at high setting for Genshin.
Lack of microsd is a bummer but 256gb is plenty tbh, no LTE sucks but I always have my phone for hotspot.
Fast charging is good charges the tab quickly.
Definitely one of the best affordable tablets
@@KaushalMania that would probably be a no. pad6 screen is only 3k 2880x1800, it will scale down to a resolution playable by the tab and youtube app.

@@100xcientoapple 2-3 months of usage battery is still as good, I have put this tablet through its paces and so far it holds up very well. Lack of LTE while certainly a con for the device it is a pro in terms of battery life as that one feature sucks up so much battery.
@@Azad_913 no bugs experienced. as for stuttering it is possible since it has an sd870 an old chip but still quite capable. it can happen especially if taxing the system enough like opening 4 apps simultaneously with one or two apps running heavy resources intensive. if its just basic casual use opening one app at a time then operation is smooth as butter.
as for if the tablet can last up to 3 yrs or longer... probably hard to say to be honest. but my old Xiaomi Pad 5 still works great to this day granted I stopped updating its OS update awaiting if Xiaomi offers it a HyperOS update. Currently using my Pad 6 for work and my old Pad 5 for personal use.
How comfortable is for reading or watching movies in long sessions or in bed??
I GOT MY MOM ONE AND SHE IS NOT TECH SAVY BUT NOW SHE IS A REGULAR USER AND LOVES TO DO SO !

Just had a query with regards to pad 6,
I bought from Amazon India during the launch and still I haven't received Widevine L1 support on Netflix and I'm stuck with Widevine L3 and Standard Definition Resolution on Netflix.. and many people with same tablet have L1 support..
Is there any issue with my unit? What should I do?

I am using the pad 6 pro.
And even with the Chinese software it’s pretty dang good!!
I chose it over the regular pad 6 because of the fingerprint scanner, better processor and better cameras.
My only gripes are the slow software updates, smaller battery and that Netflix Full Hd isn’t supported on the Chinese rom.
Are they going to lunch a global rom for this beautiful beast ?

@@shsjojo Really? Cos Full HD is supported but not with HDR 10 on Netflix or Dolby Vision on Disney+.
The regular Xiaomi pad 6 supports HDR 10 and Dolby Vision but not an imported Pad 6 Pro using Chinese Rom.

Can I watch shows in HDR in netflix or prime video ?
Yes it has, HDR10 and Dolby vision are also supported, however I have noticed weird bug which set it to widevine L3 and HDR support was lost, reinstalling Netflix solved the issue but it occurred twice in my usage.

Heard that Widevine is getting downgraded automatically to L3 in a few days and it is a reoccurring bug. Can you please confirm this after few days? Looking to get it mainly for media consumption, thanks!
@sprasad476 Not just twice it's happened for the 4th time now and that seems to be the biggest drawback. Switching from L1 to L3 also renders all your downloads in L1 unusable. If anyone has a solution to this please reply here.
Watching this on my best friend, the Samsung Tab Ultra. :) I will admit it though, this is a way more huggable tablet than the Ultra. ;)

Main concern is software support, no matter how good the hardware is if the software isn't optimised well u mostly won't enjoy the experience. All the xiaomi phones i've owned have only received 1-2 major os updates & 3 yrs of security update. Over 3 yrs the small bugs and occasional crashes add up , making the whole experience unpleasant. My k20 pro , which is an upper midranger is stuck at android 10 with 2021 security patch . On a postive ( or rather negative) note miui didn't adopt most of the new features that came with latest android versions so ig i'm not missing out on much
k20 pro recived android 11 official ... but if you use evolutionX custom rom you will get much more from that device and increase it;s liftetime :D

I got the 8/256 variant at 23k during Mi Diwali Sale. Steal deal. But absence of a sim card is a real bummer no matter how much value for money this product offers.

I've noticed that he is using the TPU case, if anyone have a buying link please share it. I have a flip cover but using the tablet with flip cover makes it heavy.

Yeah i heard it has widevine L1 issue even though you update to L1 after some days it will reduce to L3 automatically, and it doesn’t install some of the apps from playstore. Really confused between pad 6 and one plus pad go
@@harshithdchawan8495 I never heard about this issue before buying it but my variant is showing Widevine L1 support out of the box. Hope it stays that way.

Pad 6 or apple 10 gen for note taking and atleast 5 year use?
I bought their stylus and official cover too being a student i really needed these two accessories while watching long lectures just make stand out of the cover and also stylus for notemaking incresed my productivity 10x all tools at one place like seriously i am so happy and reading all my books through tab annotations also watching movies and webseries i tried some games like farloght whoch runs very smoothly at medium settings but then i quit game becuse pf addiction but its gun to play on bigscreen

Hey Ash, the only thing stopping me from getting the Mi Pad 6 is the Widevine L1 downgrade to L3 after updates as mentioned by many people and hence unable to watch Prime Video & Netflix in Full HD. Has this issue been resolved? If that is fixed, would definitely get one

3:36 I faced the same issue with face unlock, but i have both pin and face unlock so when its dark just switch to pin. What i would consider the greatest drawback is though is the random switching of Widevine L1 to L3 thats happened multiple times now and switching from L1 to L3 also renders all your downloads in L1 unusable. If anyone knows any workarounds for switching from L3 to L1 please reply here.
I had same issues, all I did was factory reset my Pad 6 and now I never face these issues ever.
