It is so very simple. Pre internet Walt Disney World was a complete joy. For those of you that never got to visit in the 80's 90's and early 2000's my deepest condolences.
I've noticed that guests attitudes towards each other has gotten worse since reopening after covid and I believe its because a lot of guests after hiking across the parking lots due to no trams enter the park already disgruntled and then seeing how the prices have gone up, quality gone down, guest experience no longer mattering and the nickel and diming going on, all of this together has gotten people in a negative state when their magical expectations are no longer met like they were in the past. Add this to then dealing with crowds, lines and everything now having to be done on smartphones and made as difficult as can possibly be some people just lose their minds and end up taking it out on the first one they encounter be it a castmember or other guest. Sadly this is happening everywhere and not just at Disney. People have had enough and are taking it out on each other.
I’d slightly disagree. I agree that lately, this is true. But when I went in august of 2020, it was magical. The parks were so dead, and the few people that were there were just happy to be back.
@@joshfontaine8546 It was very nice when it first reopened in 2020. People are always happy when crowds are low and lines move quickly. Those were golden moments we will probably never see again. Reminded me of Disneyland back in the 70s and early 80s.
Resort prices makes my blood boil every time I look at them. Compared to resort prices at universal studios or even all inclusive resorts in the Caribbean, Disney world resort prices are astronomically high.
Disney charges astronomically high prices *because they can.* If Disney had higher vacancy rates, they *might* charge more reasonable prices at resorts.
@@djm5687 ^this. Its a simple problem of supply and demand. Disney parks are packed year round now... there is no off seasons anymore. The high demand begs for price increases... its how Disney is trying to balance park attendance. They are doing it wrong though... instead of removing perks that everyone loves they should have just increased prices across the board to get the same effect
I used to work in retail, and it never failed. The SECOND we started to recover a table, flocks of people would descend and start grabbing the stuff out of our hands. We used to say that if something wasn’t selling, just have an employee start folding it, because people will literally grab it out of their hands. And this was over 10-15 years ago, so it’s not all from being cooped up and forgetting societal manners.
I loathed tables in retail because management always wanted them looking perfect and well, people are people. And people don't always fold the same way so even when they're nice to try, you're expected to go back and fix it again. Just never ever ends.
We just returned from Walt Disney World. The Instagram models and their hapless and "whipped" photography boys were driving me out of my cotton-pickin' mind!! I have no problem with being considerate and not walking in between someone taking a picture and their subject. But take a quick picture and be done with it. All of these people who want to set up for a 10 minute photo shoot while everyone else stays out of their way?? As they hit precious pose after precious pose?? NO! I would hear Pete's voice in my head saying, "trust me! Nobody thinks that your kid/sweetheart/self is as cute as you think they are." After a while, we stopped being considerate and felt no guilt about it. You want all the time in the world for a photo shoot? Rent out the park. Other than that, I paid good money to not have to deal with it.
Vlogers are starting to ruin the experience for many. There's a fine line between providing great content for those who want view it, and completely disregarding everyone around you to get the perfect shot. I expect Disney will soon start cracking down on the dozens of vlogers who seem to have overtaken the park when anything new is out. It's unfortunate because there are a few channels who put out great content (like this one) and many are not-so-great copycats.
You all just reminded me why I rarely watch the parades or fireworks. The behavior of people in crowds just sets me on edge and I can never think of what to say without sounding like I’m the one that’s acting entitled. It was easier when I had a stroller and could set the brakes and stand between the handles but now I just prefer to watch from a distance and call it good.
A perfect example of one thing that bothers me happened this past weekend. As we were approaching the line for Frozen, 2 dads come running to get ahead of us in line. Almost five minutes later their two families of 10 extra people join them in line because they walked/stopped for drinks/and were taking pixtures other places.
That one gets me too. I don’t mind the extra straggler who had to make a stop, but when more people cut in line than were already waiting it drives me crazy. My kids and I often block the entire line just to make it difficult for people to pass without at least asking. One time when a large party tried to pass (obviously with the ONE person in front of us) I played dumb and politely asked the woman in front if she wanted to join her party - motioning that she could pass behind us. Worked like a charm.
Yes! Happened to us at seven dwarfs mine train. The party of two in front of us became a party of eight by the time we reached queue. When you have more than three people jump in line to join the rest of your party its so inconsiderate to the guests behind you.
Last week - the origins of Shrimp and Skrimp This week - the origins of Gaggle and Geese Next week? - stay tuned for Off the Rails vocabulary origins based on animals!
I was in an absolutely foul mood this morning, but somehow watching my 4 favorite TH-camrs air their park grievances was just the medicine I needed. Thanks guys!
What makes my blood boil is the fact that Disney still doesn't realize that it is "hot" in Florida. No shade when standing in long lines, no benches in the shade, and the worst is at Epcot where they put up the little bar tables in the hot sun and expect you to stand there and eat your food.
It’s so crazy to me because through everything that has happened in the world in the last nearly 2 years, I’ve found myself being kinder and more sympathetic towards people. So seeing people do the opposite just blows my mind!!
Everyone’s goal should now be to find Craig out in public and interact with him as much as possible. If you can film it and catch him bowing or chicken handing I’ll pay you $100! 😀
Love going off the rails with fab 4. I think it is said that now that more things are reopening and things are less restricted, people are still struggling with honoring personal space, I was hoping that the pandemic would have taught us all to give others space and be more aware.
OMGOSH you wouldn’t believe what happened to me the other day. I was at Walmart, smelling a candle, and this guy started walking toward me, leaning over and lowering his mask!! I immediately jumped back, put my hand up and said, “WHOA!! WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!?!” He said he wanted to smell the candle too!!! I was freaking SHOCKED!! There was a shelf full of the same candle. But he was going for the one IN MY HAND!! Um HELLO? Not only are you invading my personal space but there’s this little thing called COVID going around. Some people are just nuts.
No show with this group ever disappoints. I love the Seinfeld analogy. I was once pushed off of a bench I was sitting on right after I was throwing up, from a stomach bug by a lady that refused to share the space.I was sitting on the bench way before her, while I was ill. This was in Hollywood studios on my last day and the day I was traveling home and flying.Once the fireworks start someone always goes and stands in front of me with a phone held over my head at the last minute, or their kids on their shoulders. I can forget about seeing anything after that.
On our honeymoon trip in 2014 we went to the Christmas Party. We waited for a couple hours for a spot by Cinderella's Castle. I thought it was going well until it was close to the start and then it got crazy with people trying to swarm to spots. We made room for some people and let kids in front of us. However, some people had other ideas and a full out brawl started right next to us. I was in complete shock.
Love you guys, great points made by all! Jackie, I feel for you the most - because I in more than one occasion have been that person with the facial expressions that clearly let people know how I feel in a frustrating situation.
Great show as always! Someone said we need a part 2! I agree! lol Sadly a lot of people these days have no respect for their fellow man. Rudeness abounds everywhere! I couldn't have been more surprised to hear Jackie saying something negative. Things have to be really bad for her to do that!
The thing that made my blood boil was seeing one of the few viewing of Impressions de France still available, and some drunk people were in the theater laughing and making fun of the video and it was impossible to enjoy the film because they were so loud and rude. I know the Epcot gets a lot of business from night time drinkers, but man they can get obnoxious and ruin things sometimes.
Poor Ryno, those were resellers who attack. Not just at Disney, I had a "lady" knock me out of the way at a thrift store once to get at something on the shelf as she exclaimed,.... I can get 40 dollars for that to her shopping partner. They are the worst.
Parents ignoring bad behavior in line definitely ranks very high up there. Queue jumping. Pushing and shoving. Stepping on others' shoes. Screaming meltdowns. I've even had a kid flick snot at me for an hour in full view of everybody. And the parents just shrugged it off.
We had a guest that had no personal space behind us in queue for an attraction. I was super frustrated, and my wife had to cool me down. Well about half way through the line, they spilled their entire red drink on my white sneakers. I stood with my eyes closed and took a deep breath. Second, while watching Enchantment, my wife was in a wheelchair with another guest behind her in a scooter. She decided to stand to the side just for a couple minutes but did not want to block their view so stepped slightly to the side. When she got up, a mother and daughter got in front of her chair. We had to ask them if they would move over so she could sit back down. Needless to say, the mother and daughter watched the majority of the show between us. We have so many stories from our most recent trip, but we just took it lightly and tried not to get too upset. Disney is better than being at work. Thanks for your show. I have my wife turned on to all of you guys content now too. 🤩 We were slightly disappointed not to have run into any of y’all four on our 12 day trip!
I was just at the parks a couple of weeks ago. A few things made my blood boil. 1. At AK, my fam was on the Safari, and we're sat in the middle. The entire back of the car was loud and screaming and the kids weren't sitting down.. The CM tried 4 times to sit down and be quiet. Then, at the end, one of the dads was like " if you didnt like this ride, you can get in line and do it again for free." I really wanted to turn around and tell them to sit down and shut the 🤬up! 2. In HS, at Runaway Railway, there was a family that kept creeping into our space. The little girl kept kicking my mom, and she turned around and reprimanded her. The dad specifically didn't like this and kept making aggressive gestures to us in the pre show. My mom talked to security. We've never had to get security involved. Thankfully we didn't see that family for the rest of our trip. 3. Mobile Ordering. It's not as easy as it is made out to be. Virtual Ques aren't great when the weather is bad and one has to wait in the park until latte at night to ride bc that's the only reservation u have at that park during your trip. Reservations in general are just crappy. I really hate them. Dinning reservations are tolerable but still frusterating.
Yeh, it's like this jealousy merchandise thing. I've had people eyeball me while I'm looking at something, and I swear because I'm acting interested in it; they'll all of a sudden be interested in it. Also, the getting runover by a stroller. Strollers gone wild is just not my thing.
Watched the love Dis show Tuesday about the earnings call and cuts. Would love for you guys to do a show on your opinion on what Disney SHOULD cut assuming they need to cut some things for whatever reason.
Jackie I work in an elementary school and we are seeing the same atrocious, obnoxious, disrespectful behavior coming through the children as well… idk what’s going on with people but it’s not good!
Just starting this and even considering the subject matter, already laughing- past participle of Google 🤣🤣 I feel like we’re back in English class , diagramming sentences. Anybody too young to have never done that, GAGGLE it up
I am dying with these descriptions of your experiences 😂😂😂. I mean the nerve of people! The hair over the airplane seat?!?! What the effff. Thanks for the laughs! Hope to see y’all in the parks some day. I’ll be sure to rub my hair on someone!
Things that make my blood boil are parents who do not understand that kids get cranky when they're hot and tired. One horrible woman in Test Track had a little girl around 4 in her princess dress and was spanking her repeatedly and yelling at her (woman was on a scooter) because her kid was dancing around, and not being still. I HATE it when parents act hostile w/kids at the most MAGICAL PLACE ON EARTH! There's a better way!
Loved this episode, so many funny moments! :) (Just a quick note re screaming kids - sometimes the child might be autistic and it's unfortunately very difficult to calm them down if they get overwhelmed) x
I haven't been a CM but as someone who's taken escalations in a call center, kindness up front helps. Screaming just means you'll be on the phone longer (or in line at guest services) 'cause someone has to calm you down to figure out what the real issue is. And the thing about some employees ramping up bad customers is totally true. There are some people who don't know/or refuse to not escalate a situation and they really shouldn't be working in a face to face role. Or you know...be allowed outside of their cave.
It took me 5 different CMs and about 9 hours on the phone to get my ticket issue fixed. Speaking as a former call center employee, I was chirpy and happy and sweet the whole time. It got fixed.
@@bunniesbunniesbunnie Glad you got it fixed, but also sorry that you had to spend so long to accomplish it! Disney's gotten a bad rap for phone customer service and it's pretty much earned. I'm not trying to lay it all on the reps because these days it's as much the structure and bad scripts/training that are doing it. No one wants to put much resources into cross training these days, it's just do this A or B, so then someone asks about C or anything in between and that poor rep has to pass you along. People on the line often want to help, but the platform (and metrics) discourages it.
if people are doing stuff that makes Jackie's blood boil it must be really bad in the parks. To be honest, it makes me very apprehensive about our upcoming trip in July. As it is, July is so hot people are less than patient, but if they're doing crazy things even without the heat, it doesn't give me much confidence about how they'll act in july.
I don’t let the blood boil happen. I figure some people won’t know or won’t care. I can’t control how other people behave. I can control how I behave. Good stuff😀👍🏼
What a great show and a great topic that most don't want to talk about. I think what we are seeing is the country or maybe the whole world has lost their manners, and now its been invading the most magical place on earth where everyone is supposed to be happy and have fun, however people seem to me more aggressive and angry about something all the time, and they can't turn that anger and aggressive behavior off ever. Driving, going to the grocery store, target, where ever it seems like so many people have no regard for others and why is everyone so ANGRY and aggressive? I prefer to be happy especially in the most magical place on earth! Have a great magical day!
I’m from the Midwest. We moved to the Gold Coast and that was an educational experience. In a Publix grocery store nothing belongs to you until you purchased it so anybody can go up to your cart and take whatever they want out! They feel it’s their right! People have no problem getting into somebody else’s space even if you’re on vacation. I have watched people at a movie theater roll and elderly women over a row of seats because they saved the row of seats and even if she was saying I understand I just wanna go to the other side to see if she can find a seat. I wish I could say this happen recently this happened one was 30 years ago and the incident at the movie theater happened 25 years ago. This makes me feel so ashamed! 😞
Hahaha the hair tickle! I have such a strong memory of riding Dinosaur and the girl in front of me was leaning back in her seat, arms up flailing wildly, with her hair cascading down onto the handle in my row where my fingers were curling up more and more into a claw fist to try and make my hands as small as possible to receive as little contact with the hair wisps while also maintaining any amount of grip on the handle as I could!!! I was like "Guhhhh!!!" while also trying to enjoy one of my favourite rides 😂 I think my sister and I got right back in line after that ride was done!
@@sparkleypegs8350 I was also just impressed at how she wasn't getting thrown out of the ride, meanwhile I always hold on for dear life when on Dinosaur!! But the hair tickles!! THE HAIR TICKLES!!! Now that I think of it, her whole head of hair was probably flying in my face as well. Ugh! lol
I rented an ECV for the first time for my 2019 trip. I was really scared that I might hurt someone. Sure enough there was dense foot traffic from the front of the Magic Kingdom turning the corner onto main street. I possibly should have waited thirty minutes for lighter traffic. I was inching along when I inched once too many times right into a Dad’s bare sock-less ankle. I felt so bad!
When I met you guys a few years ago at the Chase Visa Lounge at Epcot, Rhino and Corey were super friendly and super talkative. And yes Craig you look like a deer in headlights. It also didn't help that I had in the moment forgotten your name Craig
As a short adult, only 4'9'' it absolutely drives me crazy when I've clearly marked a spot by the front of the viewing area to watch the fireworks and someone or group of tall people come stand right in front of me then the cast members tell them to get inside the tape. Instead of finding another spot completely, they practically push me backwards.
I too tried to watch the fireworks on the bridge heading towards the tea cups & they definitely do not pipe in music. Honestly we had a better view of fireworks at the Grand Floridian quick service patio and heard the music from Epcot's fireworks louder at the Boardwalk hotel. We ended up bailing 1/2 thru the MK fireworks (not just cause we couldn't hear anything but also because people would stop right in front of us to watch and block the view and force others to practically climb over us to get by) and instead WALKED ON Mine Train with no wait. From now on I'll catch the fireworks from my MK hotel the night I arrive and ride during the fireworks when I'm in the park.
Our family went out to eat at Disney Springs. Afterwards I wanted to go to the Disney Store. There were so many people I started having a panic attack. It bothers me when people get into my space.
Same thing for us but honestly this has happened even before the pandemic. We were in our spot for Harmonious a good 15 minutes and we were second from fence. We left a good 4 feet from the people in front of us and of course someone thinks that is space that they can just move into right in front of us. Its like... dafuk
Honestly - we've come across so many entitled people in the parks. Once at universal we were waiting for a table at Finnegans, we had waited around 20 mins or so and this woman breezes in, tells the host she has 6 kids and she wants a table NOW. I couldn't keep my mouth shut and told her that lots of us were waiting and she had actually just pushed in front of people in line too. She was incredibly obnoxious. It was revolting. Once whilst watching Happily Ever After this guy came and stood next to me and was hacking and snorting back phlegm the whole time. Maybe he couldn't help it. But it was loud and disgusting, and right in my ear. I felt like knocking him out - obviously I didn't. But it ruined it for me. I felt like my blood pressure went sky high.
My blood is boiling right now from flashbacks to a woman yelling at me and making me cry while waiting for the fireworks. Jackie’s story about the people at the parade reminded me of it.
😂🤣😂 Socially awkward here too. I can relate with the hands. I hate it too but I would of never known Craig. You act fine, don’t worry about it. My fav four. Great show as always😊
I like to use my children to shame rude people into behaving better. Example: quite a few years back our family visited a zoo. During this visit they did a live keeper talk with the elephants where you could sit on these expansive steps and look through an acrylic barrier/railing while the keeper talked while you watched the elephants. When the talk started most of my kiddos came back from the railing and sat down after I asked them to but a few stayed at the railing along with 4-5 adults . Being adults I figured they would remove themselves so others behing them could see but nope they just kept standing there. So as loudly as I could without sounding obnoxious or like I was intentionally yelling I spoke to my kiddos and said " please come away from the railing and sit down its extremely rude to continue to block those sitting behind you " of course my little stragglers sat down and the look of shame on the adults faces while they too sat down was priceless. I do this every chance I get. My favorite is when I can use this strategy on people who cant out their grocery carts away. Like seriously people you can walk around for an hour in the store no problem but suddenly 15 feet is to far to walk to return your cart? Unfortunately we live in a very ME Me Me society so were going to run into these types of people often.
The hair thing is gross. I also can't stand the people who start slowly encroaching into your personal space the closer it gets to a parade or show start time until their elbows are in your face. We have had trouble with ECVs too. I know people get them who don't need them, but as a mom of a disabled child that has to use one to get around, no one respects your area in an ECV. People have almost tipped my son several times. They walk right into/over him. They just don't care. Some parents let their kids run wild because they are on vacation: run over people, swing on ride queue ropes hitting other guests, break props. I think a lot of people don't care about manners anymore...they don't have any common courtesy for others.
Great episode! I am embarrassed as I think I may be the source and witnessed some firework behavior violations. I am as big a Clifford the big red dog and I used to carry my kids during fireworks and parades when they where small.
I will never stake out a fireworks spot for hours, partially because I just won’t, but mostly because people with their phones ruin the view. Live in the moment, enjoy watching the show!
The kid screaming thing is a generational issue with this crop of parents, trust me as a 30 year old I have plenty of friends who parent like this. They’re afraid of “no” or issuing punishment within reason, because they refuse to be the bad guy...I too find myself constantly thinking “my mom would have never let me do this” but kids these days have no healthy fear of their parents or fear of public perception...
I just had that personal space issue last week at Dockside, I even texted Teresa while it was happening. I also wear a backpack. That should be an indicator of space. Not to the guy behind me in the Pier 8 line. He kept bumping into my bag. Looking back at him did nothing. I finally started stepping backwards to get him off of me, but as soon as I inched forward he was right up against my bag again!
This has been a complaint of mine for some time. We always stayed at The Contemporary for the past decade or so. The concourse on the 4th floor was lovely. Yes - enjoyable open space. But - to maximize $/ft sq, the Fantasia gift shop was put out there. Now - the old Fantasia gift shop was wonderful - unique items and a great environment. Well - the new Fantasia gift shop looks like the toy aisle at WalMart - half of the store is Star Wars things that can be bought anywhere. It's just sad and not at all what should be in a deluxe resort.
It's more prevalent, but not new. I'm a former LA boy who had annual passes from 1983 until I moved out of California in 2011. In 1996, when Disneyland's Main Street Electrical Parade was having (what later turned out to be the first of several of) its farewell seasons, I stopped in Disneyland on my way back from a business trip from San Diego in order to videotape the parade. Ninety minutes before the parade, I planted myself near Small World where I could catch the floats as they entered the route. About 45 minutes before the parade, a family came up next to me, and the next 45 minutes their kid was occasionally bopping be in the head with a Mickey balloon. As the parade began the father taps me on the shoulder and gripes "Hey, Buddy! My kid can't see!" When I point out that I've been in this spot for over an hour, he tries "You know, a lot of people in the front row sit down." I pointed out that I've been STANDING in the same spot for over an hour, and he tried "C'mon buddy, it's for the kids." When I pointed out that they had charged me an admission too, he used a few words that were quite inappropriate if he was so worried about the kids. Now, I'm 5'10' and was about 250 lbs at the time, so I admit I was taking space, but I had not been invisible for that time in advance of the parade. If the guy had asked if his kid could stand in front of me, I would have said yes (assuming he stopped using his balloon as a weapon). (Parents thinking their kid outranks everyone else is why there is a teacher shortage).
You know what really grinds my Mouse Gears? You can never really tell if the persons in those ECV scooters are actually handicapped or not. Imagine if a whole fleet them enters the queue for a ride. Of course, some of you don't have to imagine that.
Omg Deni yes rude guests piss me off!! This lady was ripping into a CM at DHS on my last day while we were waiting for it to open and I lost it when she said "I paid alot to be here!" I said "Honey we all did!! Get over it!! Go inside and complain to GR it's not the CM's fault. And obviously you didn't pay enough cause you didn't stay on property!!"
I have to use a scooter at Disney. I wish I didn't have to but I do. Two things make my blood boil. I am always very careful and never to too fast. I am CONSTANTLY being cut off by people who will then SCREAM at me for being in a scooter. The second thing is waiting for a parade and being where I am supposed to be, in a handicap area, and at the LAST minute able bodied families push into the area and push in front of me. The sense of entitlement is asstounding. OK, rant over.
Hoards of camp kids being supervised by teenagers, and cutting every line, throwing garbage on floor, screaming horrible things at people just joyful 😒.
Hey my friends, I love your honesty and I love your content. If I can give one suggestion ... you've all been doing this for a long time and doing a great job ... why not take it to another level or another step and bring in people like your viewers... and you don't have to bring me in .. but at least bring in somebody who has nothing to do with your show that just gives an outside opinion... it might hold a little more weight.. I love your show and I love Disney and I am not suggesting this for my own sake.. just saying that it may mean something to the average listener/viewer... if every week you bring in a different person... I know that's risky but if you believe in what you're saying you really have to take that risk.. just a suggestion and an idea.... I will not hold it against you if you think differently... You're all amazing!!! P.S. there's nothing wrong with having a pre-screening interview with that person
Deni definitely summed it up by saying that people have lost their manners over the last 18 months! I say it all the time! The pandemic and people being cooped up for so long, now they don’t know how to socialize or even be polite in public!
2 nights ago I had a group of 3 people coming in front of me during fireworks at Disneyland and pointing their FLASH TOWARDS MY DIRECTION to record their friend in sunglasses “watching” the fireworks and the third person with a huge camera blocking the view. I turned on my flash back on them to mess up their recording. I have it recorded and put it on TH-cam. Rediculous.
Why do people record the fireworks on their phones when there are far better videos on TH-cam, such as Craig's. You've paid a lot to be there, put your phone down and enjoy the moment.
We hate the parade people that squeeze in. For years, we have simply set up a “fort” of strollers behind the chains at the liberty square gift shop, and had an adult volunteer to be the guard. It’s madness
I was going to say we need more of ‘The Group’ back doing in house restaurant reviews but from the sounds of the past few shows, it doesn’t seem like Pete will be back eating or visiting the parks anytime soon.
Disney adult here now with a Disney toddler- Re the color fireworks the colors comment- with the amount of joy and enthusiasm the child was experiencing I don’t think most parents would ask their children at a loud firework show to quiet down. When you see a child throwing a tantrum or screaming in Disney, if you don’t see the parent address that situation, they probably just addressed something else before you walked in the room. Give children and parents grace. I think so many people forget that Disney is ALSO for CHILDREN… Imagine what their blood boil episode would say about us!
Off the Rails is great. I am enjoying this series very much. I had a girl with long hair in front of me on space mountain and it was hitting my face, so I will admit that I may have accidently pulled it. I get it, its a ride you have no control of your hair. I had long hair as well, but I will actively put up my hair in a messy bun, so that I don't have it fly in another person's face. It's rude. The other thing that makes my blood boil is people with backpacks in line that don't realize that if they are standing behind me so close and they turn around to talk to their party that the backpack hits me. First time, okay it's an accident, but 5 more times in the hour long line and its obvious to me you don't care about anyone but yourself. Another one, parents that let their kids swing on the ropes in the line and have the ropes which mostly are chains then hit everyone else in line. I get kids get bored, I get I am at a park that caters to children, but I still think I have a right to stand in line and not be hit, pushed, or wacked with a chain rope.
Craig I passed you as you were going into HS last Wednesday. I wasn't sure if, like me, you had an aggressive "alone at Disney park walk" on or maybe you had a reservation to get to so I didn't interrupt. You definitely had somewhere to be! lol I was close to warning you how *awful* the lines were that day man
What makes me boil anywhere is when a group of people decide to stop in the middle of the walk ways and clog up crowds. Just move over to chat about the day.
It is so very simple. Pre internet Walt Disney World was a complete joy. For those of you that never got to visit in the 80's 90's and early 2000's my deepest condolences.

@@elizdavidson plus the frustration of wanting the size at the bottom of the stack...
I love this podcast
We just returned from Walt Disney World. The Instagram models and their hapless and "whipped" photography boys were driving me out of my cotton-pickin' mind!! I have no problem with being considerate and not walking in between someone taking a picture and their subject. But take a quick picture and be done with it. All of these people who want to set up for a 10 minute photo shoot while everyone else stays out of their way?? As they hit precious pose after precious pose?? NO! I would hear Pete's voice in my head saying, "trust me! Nobody thinks that your kid/sweetheart/self is as cute as you think they are."
After a while, we stopped being considerate and felt no guilt about it.
You want all the time in the world for a photo shoot? Rent out the park. Other than that, I paid good money to not have to deal with it.
Ryno has been absolute 🔥🔥 the past few weeks. Definitely my favorite character on the channel after Pete.
After visiting Tokyo Disney, it put my faith back in humanity when it came to theme park etiquette.
The biggest thing people need to remember--athough they have paid a great deal of $$$ to be at the park? So has everyone else.
You do know one day there will be reserved spots along main st, available for purchase to view special events. Guarented !!
Chapek is probably already working on that Meanie ➕ "enhancement " as we speak.
Kids on shoulders at fireworks.

I was in an absolutely foul mood this morning, but somehow watching my 4 favorite TH-camrs air their park grievances was just the medicine I needed. Thanks guys!
"Orb of Purchase" love it.
We need that on a t-shirt.
What makes my blood boil is the fact that Disney still doesn't realize that it is "hot" in Florida. No shade when standing in long lines, no benches in the shade, and the worst is at Epcot where they put up the little bar tables in the hot sun and expect you to stand there and eat your food.
and they open Toy Story Land with only outdoor dining
it's bull sh##
It’s so crazy to me because through everything that has happened in the world in the last nearly 2 years, I’ve found myself being kinder and more sympathetic towards people. So seeing people do the opposite just blows my mind!!
love this show and hearing your honest opinions and feelings. lol
Everyone’s goal should now be to find Craig out in public and interact with him as much as possible. If you can film it and catch him bowing or chicken handing I’ll pay you $100! 😀
not funny.covid is real
If I ever see him, it will be a random question. "Does the dinosaur ride have a petting zoo?
@@hairdresser1300 deep down, you don't fear covid if you go to a theme park
I truly enjoy watching y'all on Off The Rails! Seriously one of my favorite shows here. Hoping one day to run into y'all when at the parks.
I think this one definitely needs a part 2😂 great episode as usual guys
The thing that made my blood boil was seeing one of the few viewing of Impressions de France still available, and some drunk people were in the theater laughing and making fun of the video and it was impossible to enjoy the film because they were so loud and rude. I know the Epcot gets a lot of business from night time drinkers, but man they can get obnoxious and ruin things sometimes.
Craig’s chicken hands just made me spit Diet Coke all over my computer monitor.
Poor Ryno, those were resellers who attack. Not just at Disney, I had a "lady" knock me out of the way at a thrift store once to get at something on the shelf as she exclaimed,.... I can get 40 dollars for that to her shopping partner. They are the worst.
Best way to keep people distant is to scratch visibly with both hands. Looks nuts and makes people think you might have problems.
cough...or sneeze
BWA HA HA! Best tip of the day!!
Sometimes Ryno’s stories are crazy lol
I would go flipping crazy if someone grabbed something out of my hands lol
Oh if that ever happened we’d throwing hands. Like back tf up lol
But isn’t sharing caring? Lol.
@@CharBar07 that’s not sharing
@@MichelleAlexandria-EM I am not a parent, nor am I making excuses - just pointing out a fact.

I actually work with people with severe autism, Disney is not the best vacation for them and is more about parents and siblings wanting to go.
Can you do a part 2 of this? I feel like there’s a million things that can make a person’s blood boil at Disney 😂
This episode should simply be titled "Why do people suck so much"
Rino on the plane: "Where did my TV go?" Hilarious!
Alright, well… “orb of purchase” is my new favorite phrase. 😹 Great show!
When the goddamn bus driver is SLEEPING IN THE PARKING LOT when it's POURING BUCKETS OUTSIDE and there's 25 people waiting for the bus!!!!!!!
Love sitting on the benches watching people being miserable
Are there still benches?
so sad now
@@airybrook Why are there not more benches?
Ryno saying “I know this isn’t your fault”at first to customer service is a great idea. I’m going to try and remember to do that.
if people are doing stuff that makes Jackie's blood boil it must be really bad in the parks. To be honest, it makes me very apprehensive about our upcoming trip in July. As it is, July is so hot people are less than patient, but if they're doing crazy things even without the heat, it doesn't give me much confidence about how they'll act in july.
I love Jackie's awww at what Craig said to Rhino
I don’t let the blood boil happen. I figure some people won’t know or won’t care. I can’t control how other people behave. I can control how I behave. Good stuff😀👍🏼
No Trams, no housekeeping, outrageous food prices for shitty food
I was like "Guhhhh!!!" while also trying to enjoy one of my favourite rides 😂 I think my sister and I got right back in line after that ride was done!
great share
Yeah. Gross. I've had that before too. Ewww.
@@hairdresser1300 Thank you! I had to edit it a million times for grammar, but the run on sentence was... on purpose! ;)
I did, too, and I told craig it was okay not to talk: I didn't like him anyway.
Corey nearly died.
"The COLORS!!! Look at the colors!" I was dying. LOL
We need to make “orb of purchase” a thing.
i literally came here to type this exact same sentence. 😂
Hair over an airline seat especially Spirit? Oops my coffee
My new phrase: the Orb of Purchase
Craig Talking about how awkward he is had me dying laughing Omgosh
"what makes your blood boil about people?" - the actual title
I love this show. Like a gaggle-load.
What about long hair on a roller coaster type ride? When it flies into your face when you’re seated in the row behind them?
I just had that personal space issue last week at Dockside, I even texted Teresa while it was happening. I also wear a backpack. That should be an indicator of space. Not to the guy behind me in the Pier 8 line. He kept bumping into my bag. Looking back at him did nothing. I finally started stepping backwards to get him off of me, but as soon as I inched forward he was right up against my bag again!
The Wal-Mart-ization of Disney...
Good point.
He's gonna renew his pass. No way he doesn't.
Yeah, I’d say most likely, too..Just miss the in house reviews.
You definitely had somewhere to be! lol I was close to warning you how *awful* the lines were that day man
Fun convo. Keep ‘em comin’
What happened to Pete's Palo review? Did I miss it? It promised to be a scorcher.
Ryno looks like he wants nothing to do with people. I don't blame you, Ryno. I don't blame you at all.
What makes me boil anywhere is when a group of people decide to stop in the middle of the walk ways and clog up crowds. Just move over to chat about the day.
