I almost passed on Paradise b/c last year's was SO bad! But I am actually enjoying this season (that is once we got PAST the Tia/Colton thing - I wanted to shake her & say "have some pride in yourself woman!!!"). I rather enjoy that some of the people that came on to "redeem" themselves are just digging themselves further into a hole, & that really genuine people like John are really getting to shine. I loved both his dates - Caroline getting so distracted by all the stray cats & dogs was really sweetly awkward, & the zip lining w/ Jubilee looked like so much fun & I loved how authentic their conversation was! Love topping it all off w/ Lauren's recap too, but where is JC - we need his feedback!
I didn't really care for Colton during Becca's season, but watching the emotions on this episode made me feel for him. They seemed pretty genuine to me and it was really harsh for the producers to make him stay (through Bibi) just so they could mess with his head by bringing Becca.

Ok so I wasn’t the biggest Colton fan in Becca’s season.. I figured from the start that he was just in it for the fame.. but after this week I think i like him more than anyone else there (except Eric, he seems like such a cool guy lol). He was honest with Tia about his intentions and she basically tried to manipulate him into doing what she wanted and saying what she wanted to hear just so “he could get her rose” that night. Then Becca coming in just so the producers could stir up shit while Tia moaned and groaned about Colton for another half hour, as if he actually owes her anything at all. This is my first time watching BIP. Thanks for the breakdown, Lauren! Jenna is the only person who's enough of an airhead to put up with Jordan. They do make a perfect match. Annalise can do way better. Other couples I want to see: Annalise and John (they're both sensitive and sweet). Again, she seems way too smart for Jordan. I am super annoyed with Jordan for taking up all her time for 2 days while he was just waiting for Jenna to show up. I can't help thinking Annalise and John would have totally hit it off the first day, if Jordan just stayed away from her. (OK I wrote that before I saw him get with Jubilee... I do think they have a good connection) Kendall seems like a great match for Leo because he's quirky too, but I think Joe could be a good match too. She's awesome. Caroline could be good for Joe. Bachelor in Paradise so far is much better than The Bachelor and the Bachelorette this year. I was definitely shook when I saw Krystal/Kenny and Annaliese/Jordan. I was actually alarmed by both pairings, and then I shipped them for maybe 20 minutes but then decided against it. I appreciate how much attention Venmo John is getting. I honestly really enjoyed watching his date with Jubilee. I was shocked but happy to see her!! I felt like there was something really different about the date that I haven’t seen on many dates I’ve seen on this franchise. I’m really tired of the Colton/Tia saga. I’m not Team Tia or Colton, but I appreciate Tia not wanting to get played and not wanting to invest in a guy who doesn’t have her as a priority. I DO NOT want Colton as the Bachelor. Especially considering he doesn’t know what he wants. He’s very indecisive. He is clearly not ready to be in Paradise since he’s still in love with Becca, so it just feels like he came just to gain more followers or something. I was hoping he’d go home but Bibiana ruined it. I was so upset that Wills was sent home. #JusticeforWills. I also never liked Chris from Becca’s season, so I wasn’t surprised that he wasn’t “all in” for Tia. Honestly I kind of felt bad for Colton. I didn't like him on Becca's season, and I'll agree that he definitely could've handled things better with Tia. BUT it was literally one weekend together. Not a relationship!!! I think he has reacted pretty normally considering the actual situation. Obviously the producers invited Tia and Colton for the drama, but I think things would work out better for both of them if one of them would just leave.

I almost passed on Paradise b/c last year's was SO bad! But I am actually enjoying this season (that is once we got PAST the Tia/Colton thing - I wanted to shake her & say "have some pride in yourself woman!!!"). I rather enjoy that some of the people that came on to "redeem" themselves are just digging themselves further into a hole, & that really genuine people like John are really getting to shine. I loved both his dates - Caroline getting so distracted by all the stray cats & dogs was really sweetly awkward, & the zip lining w/ Jubilee looked like so much fun & I loved how authentic their conversation was! Love topping it all off w/ Lauren's recap too, but where is JC - we need his feedback!
I didn't really care for Colton during Becca's season, but watching the emotions on this episode made me feel for him. They seemed pretty genuine to me and it was really harsh for the producers to make him stay (through Bibi) just so they could mess with his head by bringing Becca.
That Tia, Colton, Becca love thing is like the Bermuda Triangle of Paradise - it's where love goes to die.

Yeah but I think he is super invested in that type of stuff because he hasn’t found the right person yet. I mean it’s awesome what he has been doing. Lauren was not the right one for him. Annalise would be perfect. Super sweet, easy to get along with. She probably would support him and go to church with him and they both want a family. I’m just saying they would make a good match.

Ok so I wasn’t the biggest Colton fan in Becca’s season.. I figured from the start that he was just in it for the fame.. but after this week I think i like him more than anyone else there (except Eric, he seems like such a cool guy lol). He was honest with Tia about his intentions and she basically tried to manipulate him into doing what she wanted and saying what she wanted to hear just so “he could get her rose” that night. Then Becca coming in just so the producers could stir up shit while Tia moaned and groaned about Colton for another half hour, as if he actually owes her anything at all. Then I’ll damned if Chris didn’t do exactly what he was jumping onto Colton for (mingling with other women instead of bowing down at Tia’s feet). 🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄

Jenna is the only person who's enough of an airhead to put up with Jordan. They do make a perfect match. Annalise can do way better.
Other couples I want to see:
Annalise and John (they're both sensitive and sweet). Again, she seems way too smart for Jordan. I am super annoyed with Jordan for taking up all her time for 2 days while he was just waiting for Jenna to show up. I can't help thinking Annalise and John would have totally hit it off the first day, if Jordan just stayed away from her. (OK I wrote that before I saw him get with Jubilee... I do think they have a good connection)
Kendall seems like a great match for Leo because he's quirky too, but I think Joe could be a good match too. She's awesome. Caroline could be good for Joe.
Chelsea and David. Or David and Annalise (they kinda seem like they'd get along).
Tia and Colton. I think he needs to get his head screwed on straight like Jared did with Ashley I.
Krystal and Chris. But I was trying to analyze who's arms were holding the ring in the teaser, and I don't think it looked like Chris. Damn, this show is juicy.
Eric and Bibiana (love her). Bummed that Wills left. But he's hot, and sweet, he'll find someone great.
I want to see Kenny find love but I think maybe he should get with someone who already has kids? I cringed at the thought of Krystal being a stepmom to Kenny's daughter.
I really like Nyesha(?) a lot!! We don't see enough of her. But I am not sure which guy is going to have the balls to make a move with her. She seems very independent.
I wonder if the producers told David to make that cake for Jenna, or if he really is that annoying on his own. It sucks because he's a good looking guy with a nice body, but he looks so creepy when he pulls this crap.

Bachelor in Paradise so far is much better than The Bachelor and the Bachelorette this year. I was definitely shook when I saw Krystal/Kenny and Annaliese/Jordan. I was actually alarmed by both pairings, and then I shipped them for maybe 20 minutes but then decided against it. I appreciate how much attention Venmo John is getting. I honestly really enjoyed watching his date with Jubilee. I was shocked but happy to see her!! I felt like there was something really different about the date that I haven’t seen on many dates I’ve seen on this franchise. I’m really tired of the Colton/Tia saga. I’m not Team Tia or Colton, but I appreciate Tia not wanting to get played and not wanting to invest in a guy who doesn’t have her as a priority. I DO NOT want Colton as the Bachelor. Especially considering he doesn’t know what he wants. He’s very indecisive. He is clearly not ready to be in Paradise since he’s still in love with Becca, so it just feels like he came just to gain more followers or something. I was hoping he’d go home but Bibiana ruined it. I was so upset that Wills was sent home. #JusticeforWills. I also never liked Chris from Becca’s season, so I wasn’t surprised that he wasn’t “all in” for Tia. So, Chris being problematic... not a surprise but disappointing. Also, I was super confused to see Colton go up to Tia and tell her about Chris. That was super weird, but I guess he cares about her to an extent... but strange...
Jenna is interesting.... talking about being an alien is... something. Also, Becca coming to Paradise was super dumb. It felt out of place; Why was that necessary? I get producers like to create drama but there was already enough drama with Colton still being on the island while Tia was there. I feel weird about this. But I guess he got closure, so that’s good? I guess? Also, I’m confused on how David is still here??? How is he here over Wills? It doesn’t make sense. I’m terribly mad and annoyed.
You need to double the length of the show because you cover 2 episodes. I'm dying, dying to see what is going to happen with Jordan, David, and Jenna. Mmm hmm. Ok, I can't make your sound Lauren, lol. The cake was tiramisu methinks.
