Nimbus Gets His Hooves Picked Out 7/9/23

Nimbus is a rockstar with having his hooves handled. Well handled hooves is always a good thing. I use a more “natural” approach and squeeze his chestnut for front lifts, and the inside of the hock on the hinds. No pressure on the tendons! Towards the end of the video, I use a small file to grind it along his hoof walls and any sharp pieces. It’s more for the feel of the vibration and item on the hood than to actually trim. We are awaiting our first official trimming. He wears his feet down pretty well.
