We need real grass instead of turf. There is little overlap between the MLS and NFL seasons.

The proposed plan is part of an ongoing partnership between Tepper Sports & Entertainment and the city of Charlotte. The city would pay $650 million over the term of the deal while Tepper Sports pitches in $688 million, including $117 million that was invested before the announcement, plus an estimated $571 million.

Will it have any changes specifically to improve the fan experience for CLT FC matches?

This looks great, but would love to get some details on what renovations will be made to add to the Charlotte FC experience.
For those asking questions in the comments:
    1) This is being funded by the Hospitality and Food/Beverage tax that is charged in Charlotte. So, unless you've eaten in Uptown Charlotte, or are staying in a hotel in Uptown Charlotte, this money isn't coming from you. Additionally, this money can't be used for CMS or for transportation, because those funds come from different pools of money that are earmarked for those projects. Hospitality & Food/Beverage tax is intended to pay for tourism projects. And Bank of America stadium is considered a tourist destination. Additionally, this should not cause a drastic increase in concession prices at the stadium (although agreed that they're already ridiculously high as it is).
    2) The reason a new stadium is not being built is b/c BoA, for its age, is structurally sound. There is no need to build a new stadium. Additionally, the current location is perfect with its close access to Uptown Charlotte and the McNinch Lot for tailgates. To build a new stadium would require a new location which may not have the same access to Uptown Charlotte or the same amenities in the area. Same can be said for why there is no soccer specific stadium - it's cheaper to run both teams out of BoA for Tepper. Plus, MLS puts a limit on how big a soccer specific stadium can be. And given that Charlotte can fill BoA with 60k+ for Charlotte FC matches, building a stadium with 1/3 that capacity, is not ideal, nor is it financially feasible. Additionally, Charlotte FC fans would have to pay for a new PSL and ticket package at a new facility, and there's no guarantee that a discount or any kind of special rate would be available, and could ultimately be more expensive than they are now.
    3) The overlap to the MLS and NFL seasons runs from August through November. If that's "little overlap," I would hate to see what "a lot" looks like.....
    4) We don't know the specifics of the proposal, so we don't know what Charlotte FC will be getting out of these renovations exactly. This was a bare bones proposal for the City of Charlotte to vote on. Details will probably be coming out as each renovation project begins, b/c, as I understand it, these renovations will take place over the next 3 to 4 years, if approved, to limit the disruptions to the Carolina Panthers and Charlotte FC seasons, along with not having to move concerts to another venue.
    5) We were told no dome would go on the stadium b/c it would interfere with the view of the skyline and the fall weather. However, many people are pointing out that overhangs or a retractable roof would be an ideal compromise that should give everyone what they want.
