A very regrettable part of our history. In this context I would like to write about an experience I had in Vancouver. I had gone to a Chinese restaurant there but strangely I felt the food tasted like Calcutta Chinese cuisine. So I asked the Chinese waiter if they had a cook from Calcutta. He said - we are all from Calcutta. When they found that I was from Calcutta the whole Chinese staff came to greet me and started to talk with me in Bengali. I could see they missed Calcutta.

Taking revenge on innocent public is not the right way..And also it is also the violation of international laws.

We betrayed our own people, we broke trust and I think we should at least apologize to them. A simple sorry can make a difference because they are not war prisoners but treated as war prisoners. Every individual in this country owes sorry to them forever. What happened in the past we can not change it, but we can make our future.
Can't believe that our government did this. Totally inhumane. I hope Modi ji Apologizes on behalf of the government that did such a barbaric thing. I hope that those who went through such a traumatic experience had a good life after their release. As an Indian, I can only say SORRY 😔🙏

We have heard what happened to the Chinese origin people in India and their treatment but still they were treated better than our soldiers and our civilians who were in China. That was appropriate action taken by Indian security.
