I like the moto stylus line, they seem to have most things i want in a phone. The phone is really good I’m kinda surprised they went with a Snapdragon 6 gen 1, the camera is actually good and I had to compare it to my S23 U and so are the UI animations. The UI of this phone is amazing as always, a little stutter when opening the camera app but that can be fixed by an update. The screen is 120h 1080 p IPS but it’s a really good panel, and don’t get me started with battery life… man I been getting amazing battery life no complaints there.

I think the 2023 does improve upon the 2022 (complaints of the screen size? it's still larger than a Pixel 6 and Pixel 7). I believe Motorola / Lenovo can do better OS Updates in the future provided they only manufacture 5G Devices from now on (maybe a 20 Watt wall charger in the box?) you get 2 nice colour options 😊 Cameras seem to get better on my Motorola Devices after one or two software updates (I'm thinking a software update will improve the stability). I still don't understand why no other manufacturer will offer up a Stylus Device (TCL tried once, LG gave up) at a $300 - $400 price range (come on Nokia and OnePlus Nord - show us what you can do! come on Samsung, put a Stylus with an A54 and give Consumers choices).
I used to like Samsung Galaxy phones, but the battery life on galaxies phones poor, I switched to Motorola Moto g 7 power 3 years ago, I still have that phone, and it still holds a very good battery charge!!!
I still have the g7 power haha. Only because the screen is super nice. Colors bloom out. But so for I've had the 2020 g stylus which was a huge improvement over the g7 power. Then I went to the 5g 2022 stylus and now the 5g 2023 stylus. Camera is far better on this phone. The duel speakers are nice. Better than single power. But that 2020 g stylus duel speakers were a lot better.
I just got this phone today, and it's been a pleasant surprise! I was planning on getting the Thinkphone, but my 2017 Moto G5 plus bit the dust, completely and somewhat unexpectedly, so I had to get something QUICK! (thank you, Target- 5% off the price when you use the store charge card 😁). I would have had to wait for shipping on that Thinkphone, so out of desperation, I decided to "compromise" and take my chances with this one. Again, very happy so far, and I'm wondering how much I'm really going to be missing out on, comparatively speaking? Keep in mind, I'm coming from using a G5+ that was maxed out, battery no longer would take a charge, and I never even updated the Nougat 7 to the 8!! Boy, did I milk that phone for every gasp of life it had. At the time I purchased it, (my first smartphone) it was a top rated budget phone. Times have changed with Motorola products since then, haven't they- as no current budget or even midrange models are highly recommended. That's why I had decided on the Thinkphone, it's getting good reviews and is $100 cheaper than the Edge 2023. Anyway. My hand was forced, I had to make a tough decision. So far, I'm just not finding any grievances, though! And to top it off, this is $300 cheaper!! Hey, have you played with the animation thing you can do with the pen? It's a super fun little perk that can go unnoticed. I stumbled on it during texting and I can't figure out how I got it, but man, the live animation is so cool! I got mine at Walmart for around $128 with a case. It's a LOT faster than my old Samsung phone and yes, the battery life is FANTASTIC! Plus it has tons of storage. What I don't like is, it forces you to use Google apps instead of just regular stock apps. Calendar, photos, etc. Lastly, poorly designed widgets. Samsung's weather widget was great. And you could scroll through to see other locations. With Motorola's, just one location. Yes, THIS is my biggest gripe on the phone. 😂
If a headphone jack and micro sd card support aren't important to you then i would say go with the moto edge 2022 with the stylus case because it's a flagship and the moto g stylus 2023 is a mid range phone. You'll get better performance outta the moto edge, you'll get android 13, 144hz display with HDR 10 support, wireless charging, reverse wireless charging, better cameras & a way better stylus experience that is on par with the samsung galaxy note/S Ultra line.
Does the moto g stylus 5g have facial recognition I'm definitely gonna get this phone because the phone i have is galaxy ao2s and its going slow and the quality becoming bad great video keep it up man

Don't buy this shit, I just bought it a week ago, cause my old moto g power 2022 broke , so I try the stylus and mg what a crap, dark and dim as fuck , same camera ,same sluggish, laggs in everything, and its not true 5g as it takes the very same time to download anything , worst mistake in my life😢😢
u sure u bought the 5g version lol or the regular stylus
@@georgepierre3594 yeah bro, am sure i got that crap even says it in the notification bar 5g, but it takes same time to download anything as a 4g, and the built in stylus app what a shit, I actually bought it cause am doing math problems all the time with graphing circles or parabolas but this phone is just a pile of shit drawing object.anyway, avoid this phone if you can
