We have had Nissans that wouldn't program. Tried different FOBS different programmers and no luck. We pretty much only do lost keys so a bit different. If you use an Autel on a Honda and it asks for a date verification always choose NO. if you select yes even if correct it will brick the BCM. We only use a Smart Pro now on Honda as it writes differently to the BCM and will not brick them. If you have a Hyundia/Kia push to start that won't program disconnect the car battery for 5 minutes and try again. It will program right away. We do about 100 automotive calls per week. We only do automotive.
If using an Autel always choose no no matter the year or the BCM will brick. We had a call today. Customer said another locksmith used 2 different programmers on a Honda OEM FOB he purchased from the dealer. I told him I wasn’t touching it and to tow it to the dealer. Other locksmith didn’t use an Autel but I wasn’t going to be the guy who is responsible for a possible fried BCM.
@@user-Alhassany The Smart Pro is the best of the best. I'm not spending your money but I wouldn't get a 608. I would get the much cheaper 508 and a Smart Pro. If you can only get one I would get the Smart Pro. The 508 on it's own is good also. The 608 for a locksmith is overkill. We have 608's and 508's and they 508 does all the same locksmith functions. The 608 is a full scanner for mechanics but also does keys.
@@scotts4125 thanks so much for your feedback I been researching smart pro to buy so many options and prices vary a lot utp or buy tokens or contract .. kind of confusing which option better to go with I don’t have huge amount of car keys per month

So the bad key wouldn't program before now that you generated it it turned on? And now it's programmed
Unsure Oscar. I'm still learning as well. I'm hoping to figure this one out soon. I'll report back here if/when I do.
hi. please tell me, did you use additional adapters (adapters) to connect to the obd or did you not connect via obdII?
No adapter on this one.
