  • Lambert was picked 30th Overall in the 2022 NHL draft and has been no short of impressive during his 20-game span with Seattle. His skating and his hands are insanely smooth, his shot is good and he has great vision.
Very nice pick by the Jets late in the first round

Having only watched this highlight reel, I am amazed so many teams passed on this guy. Maybe he has deficiencies but the upside is enormous

Its cause he went to Europe. It hurt him. Jets sent 2 of their top prospects to whl

Playing against men hurt him? These highlights looks like he's playing against some disabled kids

@@brandonlewis5135 He didn't go to Europe. He went to NA. He only played one season in NA prior to this and has lived his whole live in Europe because he is European.

I’m not comparing them as players but his skating stride looks nearly identical to McDavid. Especially when he wheels it up.

Of course he is not Mcdavid but his skating technique is top notch

Hands down my absolute favorite player to watch as a Seattle Thunderbird. He joined the team about halfway through the season and just wreaked havoc until the very end. All the way to the Memorial Cup.

Good hands but this kid will get absolutely plastered in the NHL if he tries to do it all himself like this. I totally get why scouts let this kid go later. Reminds me alot of Yakupov. All peanut butter, no jam.
