      Well thanks Steven 🙂. I try to be the best neighbor I can. And with all the toys I have, I usually make all my neighbors smile quite often. I hope I earned a like and a subscribe from you. Have a great day.

      @@myrclife Even though it's Sunday I would like to ask if you would share your experience. Even though my heli is landing due to low battery the indicator on transmitter reads full. Also with low battery it seems to land wherever it is and not return home area. What do you make of it?

    • @myrclife
      @myrclife  ปีที่แล้ว

      I would probably recalibrate the heli. About the battery, are you running your heli with the included battery?

    I've been reading on internet that many ESCs of the V3 are failing by the 2nd or 3rd flight, have you had any problems? I think i recall that even some of the replacement ESCs also failed. Do you still regularly fly it and are you aware of others having problems? By the way i really appreciate your helo videos, great job! 👍

      I don't fly it a lot compared to how much I use some of my other vehicles but I fly at least once a month and the only speed controller that I had go bad is after I crashed it I smoked a speed controller but that was my fault otherwise my replacement one has been fine.

      These things make you seem like a much better pilot than you actually are. I've never flew any hobby grade helicopter of this size and the fw450 was a very simple heli to fly. I only fly it in gps mode because I cannot fly full auto.

    Hi i have a brand new fw450 v3 your vidios are great. you are a big reason i bought mine UNFORTUNATLY i just cant figure out how to calibrate. how can i calibrate i am a beginner at age 61

    • @myrclife
      @myrclife  ปีที่แล้ว

      If it is brand-new you technically do not need to calibrate

    • @myrclife
      @myrclife  ปีที่แล้ว

      I'm busy right now but later on today or maybe tomorrow I can help you calibrate it if you do not trust the factory calibration

      @@myrclife oh that would be wonderful. Just got email from Heli-direct saying just put on large lawn away from objects I'm at nearest objects 50ft. Let it sit for 8 minutes still flashing red. With great vigor I might add. So dead in water.

      @@Steven-ef3us there are several things you have to do.
      #1 turn on controller with all switch's in the most upward position.
      #2 plug the battery into your heli outside on flat ground clear of everything and don't touch it, the blades will twitch a few times and after it stops then you can close the battery cover. (The light on the flight controller on the back of the heli will be purple)
      #3 on you controller...move the switch 2nd from the right into "GPS" mode and let it sit. (The light on the flight controller should be yellow flashing now)
      #4 let it sit still until the light on the flight controller turns solid green (this means it has found a good gps satellite connection)
      #4 take both of the sticks on the controller and hold them down and left. (So you will be holding them in the bottom left corner)
      Do this until the light on the flight controller goes FLASHING GREEN.
      #5 Step back a few feet and flip the far left switch on the controller to the "run" position and it should start to wind up the top rotor, wait a few seconds until it revs all the way up and then slowly push up on the left stick (just a little) and it will raise off the ground. **BE CAREFUL** and have fun.
