    As someone on the Autism Spectrum, I am appalled at what those parents did. It seems like they just needed an excuse to spoil him since he was their new favorite. If they gave him support, that's one thing since people on the spectrum have a harder time learning social skills, dealing with emotions, or becoming independent . But, if you spoil them, they will become entitled and not understand right from wrong.

    Story 4: So OP gets with the girl despite her not having a finalized divorce and then is upset when things such as what is described occurs. Come on…you cannot be that blind. If she is willing to effectively cheated *with* you then she *will* cheat on you. The reality is, OP is being a blind simp. He needs to snap out of it, realize he done goofed getting close to this mess of a woman, and move on. She has no interest in a serious public relationship because if she did she would not do these escapades and avoid the talk that OP clearly is saying he needs.
    Edit: The edit is for additional content.
    So I admittedly did not take into consideration the abuse. This does justify her not wanting to be with her husband. I do still think it is a major red flag that she kept OP as a hidden BF before starting/finalizing any sort of divorce. As a result, I do not have a changed opinion regarding the story. However, I feel it is disingenuous to not mention this point.

    • @kanowest4834
      @kanowest4834 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@kanowest4834 I will submit to the fact that I did not take the abuse part into consideration. I zero'd in on the cheating.
      I do think it is still sort of telling she did not wait to finalize a divorce or separation but instead kept OP as a hidden BF. However, that is not the point of this message.
      The point is I did not take it into full account

    • @smithsmith1956
      @smithsmith1956 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Take any claim of "abuse" with a grain of salt from women. False accusations are becoming increasingly common. They have a constantly changing definition of it. Ever notice how EVERY ex of a woman is "abusive" or "toxic" but are always VERY vague when you ask for specifics? That's because they know if they were specific, they'd be backed into a corner and called out. He could have told her "no" to an overly expensive purse or pair of shoes she really didn't need or talked to her in a raised voice about something she did wrong.

    Coming from a former college football player here. You pulled a stunt like that in football, that’s when you end up getting an “accidental injury” the next time you face that team. That’s a cardinal sin in football and it’s especially one that no defensive player will forget. Expect a lot of roughing the passer and illegal tackles the next time those two teams face each other.

    The last story - stupid for thinking about ending it? No. Stupid for getting into the situation to begin with? YES. Been there done that. It never goes the way you want, she will always go with someone else. You think you love eachother but its only you that loves her. She likes the love and affection because she wasn't getting it from who she's with and eventually says something to the effect of "this is getting too serious we should slow down a bit" because she doesn't know how to handle being treated properly. And then when/if she eventually frees herself from that person she tells you she doesn't want to jump back into anything. And then a little time passes and she goes for someone who's not you anyway.
    Sometimes you have to go through it to really LEARN the lesson.

    Back when I was in school we played handball in a municipal tournament and we weren't that good, not awful, but we didn't get to practice much as we were from several different grades. We were doing okay in the competition, but we eventually faced a team that did practice and were good, they were the favourites, they destroyed us and we were out.
    A couple days later we heard that their headmistress had pulled their team out of the competition as a punishment for being rowdy and were making fun of us when they got back to their school.
    We were so happy afterwards. They didn't get to play anymore and we got put back in the competition, beat the next team and placed 3rd.

    Every time I hear another story from the same OP about his spoiled autistic brother, I am more disgusted at the parents. I too am on the Autism Spectrum AND in the High Functioning category as well. High Functioning Autism means you, in a sense, are as close to “normal people” as you can get while still being autistic. There are some things that we struggle with but we can also do things others that are “more obvious” on the spectrum could never do, like learn to drive. One of these days the spoiled brother is gonna do something that’ll either REALLY bite his parents in butt or something that the parents will have absolutely no way of bailing him out of if they don’t put a stop to this behavior NOW. And when that day comes I would not be surprised to hear that it got REALLY REALLY ugly!

    I was a high school football official for 14 years. I started doing playoffs the 2nd year, which is unheard of. I knew the rules as well as any official in the state, and when I retired was begged to come back for over 3 years. My body had given out and I couldn't do it. I've now had 26 surgeries, most of which are from the times I overdid activities.
    Not to the sportsmanship shown by the winning team. They are out of line, and the national rules prohibit that kind of behavior. I blame the officiating crew for not stopping it during the game because I've never had an occasion where one team beat another team, then put it in their face after the game, where it hadn't started during the game. I had to eject players in a game to get their attention. There was no boasting arrogance after that game. Yes, they were angry with me, but I'd rather have them angry with me than get in the losing team's faces.
    No, they shouldn't have shaken hands. That's my feeling, but, yes, they should have, then filed a complaint to the league offices. In one game I did, I had a coach lie to me. I filed a complaint with the state association, and then later found out that I was the first of many. At the end of that season, the coaching staff were all fired. A school can't take the chance they will be banned from playing. Football is the single most profitable sport in the U.S.A. A good football program can bring in enough money to finance every other sport.

    But this action of the cowboys is just below anything. I completely side with the OP.
    I play floorball in a amateur league in Switzerland, and some games get really intense. Especially against direct neighbouring villages.
    But no matter how many „shout your f*** mouth“ get thrown in during the game, the shakehands end all hostility and the shakehands come before celebrating the victory with the fans (mostly familliy of players).
    If there is some kind of feastivity in the Area I live in, all the surroundig villages come, and it is no rare occasion to be drinking beer together in the evening with guys you did some namecalling DURING the match in the afternoon.
    But dare someone to drop more insults after the matchclock run out.
    Saw this happen once, that guy got imediatly put in his place by his own team, but he didn‘t stop, so they threw him out of the team right on spot

    In the first Story with the bike sounds like me. Only with fixing the bike because I'm not sure how to fix a bike apart from pumping up the tires. Example: I was 16 and riding my bike the two miles to town since I live in the country and the nearest town where I go to school was not to far. I was only 1 mile from town when the chain on my bike came off. I didn't know where the chain went so I walked my bike the rest of the way to town. I found a bike repair shop (it's not really a bike repair shop. I thought it was because the antique store had bikes for sale outside) where they told me the chain came off and they fixed it for me.

    And if I did any sports and the other time would be disrespectful and rude and mean it be that point where I throw the first punch and say "You don't belong on any sport field if you just gonna be a jerk" sports is for others to have fun and be a good sport and not huge jerks

    Story 2:[I'm sorry for the rant- ]
    Ah yes the entitled I'll raised brats are now playing Lil league and the parents whom are irresponsible are likely running the league, many places are being ran by entitled irresponsible lazy people whom think their better because they have money in reality their making up for something they lack which is painfully obvious I seriously hate when people don't do their jobs and there should be a consistency clause to allow the people to prove that they aren't doing their jobs because not dealing with problem people is not doing their jobs I swear assholes and entitlement are running the world now and all humble folk with a head and can see are at the bottom of the pile at this point

    I'm have high functioning autism and my parents would have killed me if I acted like that. If I broke my own stuff then I didn't have that thing anymore. If I broke things that didn't Belong to me I was grounded. When I was little I got away with things but as soon as my parents knew I was capable of understanding my actions they would hold me accountable. My parents raised me right

  • @andreniquegomez4812
    @andreniquegomez4812 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    In the minor working story OP wouldn't have just gotten fired, but the owner FINED/ARRESTED for hiring a minor. Idk where they are from but assuming that they would have to show an ID, OP's ID would tell on them that OP is a minor. Then what??? OP did the right thing because then OP's age would/could have lead to a whole lot more problems.

    • @smithsmith1956
      @smithsmith1956 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      You can work as a minor, but a "hardship license" is needed. And a parent has to sign off as well as very stringent rules to follow. Such as the number of hours worked to prevent employers from taking advantage. This is for the US, though. Don't know about other countries.

  • @jasoncarpp7742

    *Story 1:* What kind of parents just let their child just take what they want? That doesn't seem right. Generally if one wants something, they have to ask first. If they get a *"Yes",* then they can play with it with proper supervision. If they get a *"No",* then they'll have to find something else to play with. Instead of throwing a temper tantrum, they should find something else to do. Autism or no, it is possible to do. OP should've damn well called the police on his brother, as well as their parents. That kind of behaviour is so *not* okay.

    for story 1 my cousin has the exact same problem. He begged his dad for a dirt bike(he's eight years old) and his dad somehow allowed it. Even crazier, his dad let him drive around while he was in the back. To "teach him how to drive". yeah, cool, until my cousin drove into a pole and crush his dad's leg. Doctor said he would be practically unable to walk normally for the rest of his life. what a joke
    p.s. mother language isn't english so spare the grammar mistakes pls

    Story 1 - My youngest brother's on the Autism Spectrum, and sure he's given more chances because of his disability he still gets reprimanded for bad behavior in the form of time outs. Enabling bad behavior is already a bad thing, and makes it very hard for that person to learn and grow later on in life, but it makes it even worse with kids who have autism.
    and Story 3 - I've heard this one before and this one makes my blood boil. The OP's mother in this story is just awful.

    As someone who is on the Autism Spectrum, I am very appaled that the parents did nothing and just watched as the little brother took that mini bike out for a joyride. I can tell that he's spoiled AF and if he keeps this behavior up, he won't learn how to be independent or control his emotions when he's told "NO."

    Last story: she 👏 is 👏 full 👏 of 👏 dookie. I believe her when she says she can't mentally handle the situation because she's embarassed that she got caught in her lie. There is NO reason to do what she did and NO excuse whatsoever. She does not love you the way you love her. Sure, she may have feelings for you, but she does not and will never respect you enough to stay faithful.
