sir as per rule we can not alter the course to port with PDV, CBD also PDV in third card written there 2 short blast and alter course to port. plz clear that situation doubt.
08:33 a/c to stbd sir as per rule 17 don't alter to the vessel on port side correct me if i am wrong it will be great help
Rules 17 states that for power driven vessels only. Not for any other type. In this case, as it's a fishing vessel, we can a/c to port to give way as per rule 18.
Sir,I have a doubt regarding one card which shows the starboard aspect of a fishing vessel..that case masthead light is high and above the identical lights..if so how can we see the green over white (identical lights) when seen from stern
Green over white (trawler) is all round lights. So it can be seen from all aspects.
