Got this guy nearly a year ago. I absolutely loved it! I also custom painted it myself a few months back and it just looks even better! I did a couple of black washes and then I added lots of metallic silver for the scuffs all over the suit. I also painted the visor darker around the bottom to give it more depth and realism. I made it look like it's been through hell just as realistic as in how the suit looks in the games. Dark and gritty. I also did the same thing to the guns and all the hands. I absolutely love it.
I would love to see this mate, will tempt me into giving mine a go! Glad to hear you enjoyed this one. I still think this is the best Chief on the market!
@RADWORLD The extra hinges and flaps dont help either, especially with the waist. I just dont think this Chief is 1000Toys best offering. Better than the Mk V for sure but still missing the mark IMO

It’s quite sturdy actually, I have dropped the figure a few times but it’s still ok.
