Hi Antoinette, you might want to try what I do. I have a Pinterest board and when I get in a rut or need some extra encouragement I turn to Pinterest. Start following people who post pins that are related to whatever issues you are working on. Every so often go and start reading pins associated with whatever topic you are working on. It's really helpful to read little affirmations, quotes, and prayers every so often. I struggle with anxiety and when it gets bad, I start reading pins on that subject and it really helps. It also gives you videos and articles on the subject you are seeking as well. It may not be for you, but hey it's free and easy to try. I wish you well Antoinette. Namaste.

Happy New Year, everyone! Six days ago my life partner let go, she gave up on us, on me. It hurts like hell and I am not sure if I will recover. This helps in lining up my perspective, starting with being patient - since her prime reason is me being impatient. We are still staying together, she asked me to be a friend and pretend to be her roommate since her mom is around. It gets harder each day I see her and especially now after she said she's leaving after her mom leaves. It's like walking to my own funeral. Will fight harder to be at that state where I can laugh at myself for being a fool. I am still hoping, wanting and praying that it will still be us.
Very nice points. Meditation is an important part of karma. It makes you a good human being with a loving heart. Another important point note that karma is not punishment from heaven. Our intentions are important. If you defend yourself from an attack and hurt the attacker that is not bad karma.

Sometimes I think karma only exists if you believe it. In my opinion, if you believe you deserve to pay a price that's when you pay. But if you think you did no wrong or think karma is a bunch of crap, you're spared from the entire law altogether. Just my personal opinion.

Memory in turn is knowledge and that knowledge has come out of our own experiences that we have under gone in this life or have undergone in many lives, before.Thoughts are not self generated, but happens spontaneously in relation to, say, something external/ an external stimuli, if you will.We cannot do anything other than what our minds prompts us to do; in that sense, even the so called free will appears to be within the ambit of the stored up thoughts in our minds as memory.Therefore, all our actions, it appears, are predetermined.If that being the case, where is ' karma ' to bind one or liberate one ! We cannot know life but only living.In trying to become something or someone other than what we are, appears to have been the root cause of all our problems.
