Huh, I used saint George with a taunt CE to reduce and minimise any damage to Mash. It would be interesting to see people's reasons for their approach to him. Some focusing on dealing damage in the millions, some buffing Mash to defeat him by herself or preventing him from causing anymore harm.
So in the end Beryl was very similar to Kirei. He had a warped, broken understanding of the world and though he loved Mash he could never express his love in a healthy way. Mash's final words to him: "I do not understand your love.....perhaps no one ever will."
he's the opposite of kirei. kirei is someone born evil (defect) but have a good upbringing and were taught morals, thus his contradictive nature until gil push him to just let loose. Beryl upbringin on the other hand enables and twisted him into the vile man he is.
