I was working as a cocktail waitress in a cross town bar... had thee worst day... then a customer leaves the box set 4 CD's 💽 of Zep as a tip!!!... next, another patron says he has an extra ticket to the Led Zepplin concert.... we drive all night with another waitress to Denver...... we picnic at a national park... get to the show early.... set a blanket under a tree... stage left... sunset... then just an amazing concert by Zepplin 🤘... everyone wanted to party... they brought goodies 🌲💨💨🍷.. for us girls on the blanket... now, the guy who drove (an actual) taxi cab 🚕... gave his ticket to me... while he made cash.. giving rides to peeps ...to & from the concert & parking lot.... that was hella nice of him... anyway, I thought the concert was over after the encore... climbed about 80 steps to the top of the amphitheater... to use the restrooms before the long ride home 🚗... and they do a second encore... the song 'Thank you ' ... my favorite... I floated down them steps with each note... da best!!!!!

This song rips me up. The woman I was head over heals in love with had this song as the last track on a mixed tape she made me 25 years ago. A more beautiful, loving and poetic soul I have never met. She meant every word of it. Cruel fate tore us apart not long after and eventually life went on perhaps as before, a lot less colorful, a lot less optimistic, a lot less fulfilled.
