You just play the same notes higher up on the b to compensate, or just a bit of nice sounding Improv in the same key if the high notes are out of key/reach that would of been on e.
@@eddieruddock7014 Of course there are faster, cleaner and more technically proficient players but there’s no denying that he has come up with some extremely pleasing songs, riffs, solos etc and he has undeniable stage presence and star quality. He is an inspiring guitarist who makes people want to pick up guitar and learn it.

@@balialharris7446 only a problem if your solo goes up to the top of the fretboard on the e string. But even in that case you just improvise down an octave. It’s just a matter of knowing where each note is on each string throughout the fretboard, something most serious players master early on. You can pick just about any guitarist and find a video of them doing this exact same thing. Sometimes they’ll finish the whole song, sometimes their tech will bring them a new guitar, which they switch seamlessly. There’s a clip of BB King actually changing the string himself while he plays and sings! One of Stevie Ray Vaughan seamlessly switching guitars while still playing, switching from one to the other in between beats. You can probably search “string breaks” and find some good ones.

i feel the same about his as like a disney ride stopping mid way and the lights turning on, it’s cool af cause you’re seeing a literal once in a lifetime performance but also potentially missing the full “experience”.

@@badguacamole3709 They are lovely! I had a les paul style Charvel but fell just one time and the headstock broke clean off! The weight balance is really weird so it dropped like a sack of potatoes lol that and 22 frets instead of 24 just made the decision easier. No weird tuning issues with my Jacksons, Charvels. nor Washburns so far. However a Sunburst LP is always a beauty to look at! I was tempted recently but restrained myself lol

It's easily recognizable - the paint under where his right hand rests is almost all gone, while on the Derrig it's still there, even though it's beat to shit. Also on his proto he's changed direction of his bridge pickup.
