Geoff's cover of the Beatles Blackbird shows his range even better!

Whenever Geoff Castellucci does a song cover of something. Because of his singing abilities, it's a song cover you'll certainly want to hear about 100 times throughout the year, if not more. 💯

One of my favourites, though there are so many :) This is so beautiful. The voice, the range, the arrangement, the harmonies, all so scrumptious. :)

His wife Kathy chose this song and like a loving husband made his wife very happy by singing this for her.

I'm so happy you did this one - it's absolutely one of my favorites. Simply gorgeous. Jeff has said he wanted to be a rock tenor - and when his voice went low, he kept fighting to get the high notes, which are pretty much essential for Disney/musical theater type work. And then he started pushing his voice lower... So, a ton of work went into that range. He has a gorgeous voice, but he's worked hard to make it what it is today. (He's commented on the hundreds of tapes he recorded, rejecting each because they weren't beautiful. He KNOWS his instrument.

His name is Geoff. Jeff is one of his clones/backup singers. 😉

I cry every time I listen to this, at the same time having a warm feeling inside. I love it, one of my very favs!

Your intro music appears to be Mr Sandman.
And that reminds me... Mele Kalikimaka (especially the original by Bing Crosby and The Andrews Sisters) sounds similar to Mr Sandman.
That further reminds me that Geoff has a cover version of Mele Kalikimaka on his channel, based on that original and with The American Sirens as backup.
As far as singing school... Geoff also has instructional vids on his channel about how to sing really low. He uses a combination of Growl (learned from Tim Foust), Vocal Fry, and Subharmonics.

Stunned fascination is a legitimate reaction.

I recommend - Diana Ankudinova - Can't Help Falling in Love.
This performance will surprise you. No, it won't surprise you, but it will stun you, shock you.
