Just to speak to pivots, at one point the author of this video says 13:53 "without ( previous S/R ), I would say, that pivot is useless... 42:32 you don't need pivot points". Well first off, this video does not include the extremely important MidPoints M1, M2, M3, and M4. Also, the reason pivots DO often predict the future of entries and targets is not because they are magical but rather because so many professional traders use them. Why? Because long ago, on the trading floors, these calculations were used to simplify the demanding transaction decisions.

Thank you so much for the information, I just want to give my opinion, price always pullback to the most liquid area's when we can see a bunch of stops sitting down , buyers always retest to confirm that they have control of the price ,people who are long will place they're orders . pivot point tool it gives US a good entry point but it's a really good idea, not to depend of any tool just price action , if look a lot of chats after price retrace to a liquid zone price always went up, also it's good to have a healthy RETRACE, as long price do not breakout our support level zone Remember for prices to go up, we need buyers ," common sense" where are this buyers going to buy from???? guess what from the sellers, that means we need people want to sell first , so we can BUY IT back from them and then push prices up higher, that's why I always try to find liquid zones "turning points area's, FIRST thing I look for my first ROUL DROP BASE RALLY AND THEN I WAIT FOR THE RETRACEMENT HEALTHY RETRACE AND BUY it's just my opinion, thank you again for all the information that you give us in all your videos, to be honest l already learned a lot from you

I'm using Dmitry Vladislav's trading methods, it works very well, it's not possible to operate with the indicator in a key support level. but I easily operate with the *Blended Model Strategy* earning €985 to €1250 per day with it. In the video Navin explains why it's not very useful to use Pivot Points and why it's much more useful to only apply price action principles. For day trading in general it's bets to trade 1H/15min :)
That can be hard to say for sure, as many of the major players are banks, governments, etc who are just moving money through everyday transactions. However, it is possible that some bigger hedge fund type traders may use pivot points. But that is only a guess and hard to know for sure.

I really am thankful to you for a great work you put into helping the TH-cam community to succeed. I started trading last year, actually learning the trading world and I am still learning. Tested a couple of strategies and they did not quite get me to tick. BUT i'm presently trying the *ASH STRATEGY* which i recently came across while making some research on GOOGLE about strategies suitable with PIVOT POINTS because even with a good indicator also you can still make a bad trade but in additional of a strategy like the *Analysis signal hedging strategy by aleksandrov* you can be a more profitable trader, you can also backtest this strategy with tradeview !! Knowledge is power when you google more about this strategy.

Great video after watching your video it gave me some confirmation I am doing the right thing. Prior to watching your video I was drawing what I call friction points on my chart a friction point is where price in the past did a reversal, swing high, swing low, or channel.; and more than likely it will do it again in the future at, or around that price. The Pivot points are calculated based on the timeframe of the chart, so in the case of EURUSD it was the 4H
the information is mixed up and confusing..emphasis not placed on pivot points for the length of video

little time frame trading is mostly risky. it should be 4H and D1 time frame.
1H/15min is still fine also (and even lower if your spreads are solid) :)

I really am thankful to you for a great work you put into helping the TH-cam community to succeed. I started trading last year, actually learning the trading world and I am still learning. Tested a couple of strategies and they did not quite get me to tick. BUT i'm presently trying the *ASH STRATEGY* which i recently came across while making some research on GOOGLE about strategies suitable with PIVOT POINTS because even with a good indicator also you can still make a bad trade but in additional of a strategy like the *Analysis signal hedging strategy by aleksandrov* you can be a more profitable trader, you can also backtest this strategy with tradeview !! Knowledge is power when you google more about this strategy.

Great video after watching your video it gave me some confirmation I am doing the right thing. Prior to watching your video I was drawing what I call friction points on my chart a friction point is where price in the past did a reversal, swing high, swing low, or channel.; and more than likely it will do it again in the future at, or around that price.
