Strategy to Spotting Reversals When Forex Trading

- We all know Reversals happen in the Forex market, but the key is how can you spot them? Well, the answer to that lies in the Price Action analysis that you do. This analysis can help you find those Reversals in any trading strategy that you decide to use.
Navin will discuss how in some situations a reversal is much more likely and how you can spot these situations on a daily basis. A lot of this will revolve around the price action on each unique setup. Each setup will give you clues on whether or not you can expect a reversal to happen, or whether the trend will just continue.
A lot of the time this clues will revolve around location in the chart, whether or not the price will reverse. But also, sometimes is will revolve around the the the speed and momentum of the previous moves leading up to the reversal area. Navin will touch on both of these concepts in great detail in this video. You should start with higher timeframes. So in this case we would recommend you to start with the four hours.

I've listened to several who've attempted to explain market structure and price action as best they knew how. Your explanation gave me more understanding than I've had in a long time. That's not to discount what they do or what they've done for me. I first found one of your videos on divergence (I've got to go watch it again). Then this one. Likely to subscribe.

@urbanforex Watched it again. Pullbacks are showing to be weak spots in my trading. Gleaned more from it this time than the last. I don't detest patterns quite as you do. I'm starting now to treat them as any other tool in the bag tho : confluences. Such as the H&S on the last example of the video. Bc I've always thought there HAS to be a way of some type to take advantage of those moves (ie, that make up the H&S) and not simply wait, get through the entire pattern and THEN take the trade. The other guys I mentioned in prev comment say much on price action but then only measure it in patterns. That, to me, is kind of like viewing things in 64bit while what you're teaching is like 128Kb. The difference : greater resolution or detail. Like a map in the Legend of Zelda style vs Google Maps.
Amazing content. best videos I've seen love the way you describe stuff and sense of humour. QUESTION @34:09 when talking about landmine.and the continual test at the top of the range indicating the reversal to the upside. If there is a continual test across the bottom of the range does that indicate a continuation to the downside?

Yes, power of movement plays a big role in trading. One of the observation I find in this videos is - During range formation, if on 4th touch - railway track formed (or price rejection) with green candle (for Bottom side) or red candle (for Top side of range) happened than ride this trade upto Top or Bottom of the range respectively. During this process also keep in mind the way of movement (POWER) just before the range formation ( I.e. its breach area). Nice video.... Lots of knowledge gained from it.

The big candles at htf key s&r are the only footprints, big guys leave for us, at these level they cant hide their orders

Hey Navin, I would really appreciate you doing a webinar on how to reduce uncertainty in trading, if you know what I mean. Eg: Volatility, trends etc. I'm of the belief that an inept understanding of uncertainties and identifying areas of uncertainties can aid traders in better being able to sit out poor trades. I know a lot of your webinars aid in doing just this, however I believe this is so important you should single it out and focus an entire webinar on how to avoiding trading when there is uncertainty within the markets. Regardless of how aggressive traders are, there are just some times when its best to sit and wait for more stable conditions. Love watching your webinars Navin.

When deciding up or down. Do we have to compare candle size only on one time frame or on others too?
We use 2 time frames normally in our trading to know the whole story.
