After my favorite Maurice lacroix aikon 42mm automatic in blue , this one is my new addiction!!! perfect match the green bi color dial - green strap - and gold is outstanding!
As an owner of 3 different Aquis models I love it and could see myself getting one! Actually my wife is looking to get a green 41.5mm Aquis so I might steer her into this direction and get to wear it as well 😁
Very sad they seem to be leaving the 43mm Aquis behind and focusing everything on the 41mm models... As an owner of the 43mm Calibre 400 i do hope to see the blue strap option from this gold version for the 43mm as well. That would be such a brilliant fit for the summer. Instead the only strap available is BLACK... they don't seem to be fully using the potential of the quick release, I hope they will because otherwise it's a missed opportunity.
Funny you say so, I heard exactly the same thing from a guy who works at Oris and knows the company by heart. I think they will realize how important that segment is for them and will give it the attention it deserves. Allthough for me personally, with smaller wrists, I’m quite happy with the 41 😅
@@WatchTheFreshFaces I think it's amazing they offer so many options, but I also feel the 43mm Aquis Cal400 has been left behind a bit. I'm really hoping for some strap color options for it :)
Indeed, it's a nice balancing act to make this look luxury - quite well done. I think the dial has a lot to do with that. Not sure about the Rolex comparison though 😅
Caliber 400 developed by "Oris and Sellita". First time I've head - very interesting information. How do you know? Does Sellita make the caliber 400 as well?
My Oris Aquis cal 400 arrived yesterday ,the company from I’ve bought my watch sent me “gold” more expensive version by mistake so I returned to the nearest store, and I exchanged to steel version. “Gold” looks for me …. too much .
True. Gold is always overpriced. I was recently comparing a gold IWC Portugieser and a steel one. Stunning, the price difference. What’s worse, companies that ask more for platinum watches than white gold, while gold is more expensive now… just staggering.
As an owner of the carysfort, source of life, staghorn and plain black I just hate this so much for some reason. Omega pulled off the two tone but this looks cheap it’s so bright. I know many love it so no offense. This just makes me gag. I would’ve much preferred a more muted green or a navy blue but not this lime with a sunburst dial.

That's pure win-win 😄
Congrats on the exclusive!
Thanks mate!
Original green + this green strap- on my shopping list
😁😁

As a massive oris fan I really like the look of these I do prefer the blue one but the green one is just as good👍🏻
Thanks for sharing 🙏🙏
Is it me or does it look like a Rolex kermit/hulk?? Looks good, very few can pull of gold+green without it looking cheap

My only debate is should I get the Rubber or the Steal bracelet. This is definitely a yes and definitely going to my youngest son.

Thanks! Contacts within Oris told me. Yes, its made by Sellita.
@@WatchTheFreshFaces Fratello just claimed that Monnatch makes the caliber 400.
@@aurelius388 Let me get into this - I’ll keep you posted

Fair enough! Gold is not for everyone, that's for sure. For me personally, steel is better as well.
I get that it's a novelty, but a $1,200 premium for what is probably $30 of gold (no gold crown or bracelet links) is pretty aggressive.

If the bezel is solid 18k, there is probably $500 worth of gold there at current prices.
A stunning watch I must say.

I love the Carysford! That dial is stunning. I get your point 👍
let's see the blue with gold
Yes I’m looking forward to that as well!
Faces: you are 💯 . Nice watch from a great brand. But not for me.
Thanks! Haha, I can imagine - it's definitely not for everyone 😅
Pretty sure 'The late 2020s" haven't happened yet. 😁
Typically Fresh Faces - always living in the future
Looks cheap and tacky. Oris make some classy watches but this is not one of them.
