I am so sorry for overlooked your comment 🙁 no man, it's okay to ask, but all those Logitech g-series wheels, are basically the same underneath, the only difference is that with g29 and newer, have more buttons on the steering wheel.. but it all depends on your budget, if I will go back, I will maybe buy a T300RS, a little bit better (smoother) wheel, but a bit more expensive!! hope that I have answered your question? probably in the near future, I will 😄

thank you man 🙏 for a drift track I would recommend an original track from AC and that is Drift, you have a lot of variations for drifting.. for cars, my number one pack would be the WDT Street pack, they are one of the best car packs to start learning how to drift!! than are DWG pack, Akuma Workshop, those can be a little bit challenging for a beginner, but are quite realistic 😄 those are all mid to low hp cars, good for a beginner 👌 hope that this is helpful?

QUICK QUESTION- even when im jus tchilling in game my wheel fights to go back to the center at all times- event sitting still- is this supposed to happen? im using G920 With my xbox on assetto if that helps :D
Most of my setup is identical to yours but I never thought of bumping up the overall effect from 100% to 125%. Will try to do so!
Always felt like the returning rate of the G27 is a bit slow so you kinda have to throw it back to counter-steer.
The ultimate solution is here to eliminate that factor is:-
You need to set ffb % for each and every car for to suit with your handling ...
For example 100% default but. Your return rate is slow then for that car u need to set ffb in game to 125 %

@@NishanthMjn Thanks for the tips! I’ll try it out now. I remember that the maximum I can adjust in-game when I’m in a car is 100% but I’ll try it again just to be sure. Otherwise I’ll bump it up in my Logitech software.
The G27 feels like an old tech but oh do I love how it looks and perform even after all these years. 😂

thank you @@NishanthMjn , for explaining that.. yeah I rather have set in Logitech Profiler to 125% because of that return rate, and fined tuned in-game each car separately, but mine that, I don't usually change ffb in-game a lot, maybe I change just for a few cars!! those Logitech wheels are old, and definitely one of the slowest ones, so I usually throw them the other way so they can rotate quickly and not spin out😄
@@SharcDrift mine is hard to get through the center when i am exiting the counter steer... Like it requires a strong pull to get through the center and the car just simply starts going the other way there i slam into the wall. Why is this happening or is it like that irl too?

hey, it depends on the wheel, if you have g25 or g27 then definitely use the 5.10.127 version, but if you have newer you can download a newer version.. thank you, happy new year to you too

Thanks for this video. It helps a lot. But I think I broke my wheel. When I drift for a few minutes, after I countersteer for a few times, the wheel can't be centered. It will eventually turn left when I drive straight. Weird😂
no problem 😄 what? how? I haven't had any problem with my g27 or with those setting.. you just countersteer and the wheel wasn't centered afterward? try to do wheelcheck, maybe it will be centered back 🤷♂️

it would be great if you could help me but I'm not sure if you'll see this but when I did this at first I had one crash but then it worked great but now like 2 hours later im trying to play and my game keeps crashing I know the issue is the LUT because when I revert back to the old ffb its perfectly fine but I've tried looking around and haven't found a fix I've redone all steps verified assetto Corsa I just have no idea what to do now some help would go a long way!

Hello, when iuse the forcefeedback test 1.72 and use put the step log 2 linear force test, nothing happens. Is there a solution for this? my g27 is motionless
Run that program in windows 8 compatibility mode + as administrator. That popped up wheel stats for that program for me and after that log 2 linear force test worked!

my wheel doesnt move in wheelchecker. Ive already tried to install an older version of ghub which gave me real ffb. Before I was using the center spring

I must've messed something up cause this is unplayable lol. The car is insanely stiff with FFB and it's constantly just fighting me to steer the other way lol.
Update: definitely unplayable. I'm constantly fighting with the car while trying to drift. These settings feel like they'd be okay for grip racing but definitely not drifting. I must've fcked something up somewhere. I reset my AC settings to my old settings and it's still super stiff and awful, so it's something in the Profiler settings.
Update 2: Adjusted profiler settings a bit:
Overall spring strength: 35%
spring effect strength: 45%
damper effect: 45%
Game is perfect now.

are the settings pretty realistic to what we feel in real life or no
if i'm totally honest, I never drift in real life.. but if you have a Logitech wheel you have to turn off a lot of small details because they can not process a lot of things..

I have G25. When I try to generate my LUT file by doing the wheel check first. My wheel doesnt move at all. Any ideas. P.s the wheel works def, cuz i have used it in Assetto Corsa
when you choose Step Log 2 on Wheel Check, it takes around 30sec and up to 1min to initiate it? if after this still won't start, maybe try to reinstall Wheel Check.. let me know if this helps you

But I set max count to 1500 instead of 50...And the results are amazing... But it took about 30 to 40 minutes to complete...
But resulting steering control was awesome...It's just my point of view....

@@Wiko04 no each and every steering wheel and it's mounting on table or rigid one >>>these factors were also changes the value of LUT graph ... So don't touch the wheel while its calibrating...Try to mount as tight as possible... Avoid slaking benches... Moving benches ... ✌
oh really, I will have to try that out myself!! for now, I am pretty happy with max count on 50, but I can imagine that set to 1500 will be more accurate 😅 thank you for sharing 🙏 yeah, that explanation is on point, you will have to do it by yourself..

You will see amazing results....But remember to tight your steering wheel mounting as could be tight much possible...I would recommend to mount wheel to concrete slab atleast that time to see very good results... Avoid mounting on wooden desktop bench that time of calibration......You re good to go...👍

I just got my 1st g27 and assetto corsa.. when I try practice mode, the car not respond to any pedal, shifter, nothing working.. is this the solution?
I know I am a little late, but have you found a solution? if not, even before you enter a game, you can check your wheel/pedals/buttons, in Content Manager, if they work properly if nothing works, you have some connectivity issues

is your wheel super heavy? if it is, try to lower overall effect strength..

@@skillforever4887 for g29 you sould download the latest version of logitech profiler or a g hub.. about wheelcheck, the graph we be different for each wheel, it depends on where you have mounted your wheel, so don't pay attention about my graph, yours will be differant
