This actually works in java but you have to place slabs on the top of the leaves then iron golem will spawn in the cage. Otherwise golem will spawn on the leaves

There are two ways to get iron golem to spawn, 5 villager gossiping or 3 villagers panicking.
So if you put 5 villagers in a place then beat one you get iron golem?
@@Scongi no, to make them panic a mob like a zombie has to be nearby, so you can just trap one next to them for it to work too

ive made so much smaller and cheaper. mine had 3 beds. no leaves. full after 9 hours. only 2 hoppers. so inefficient.

If somebody is confused about the torches, it's so that it could prevent hostile mobs from spawning
its also so iron golems dont spawn down there use the ianxofour design instead
Nothing can spawn on beds or slabs so it doesn't matter

Great and easy beginner farm
wanna make the iron farm run event faster? trap a zombie, nametag it so it doesnt despawn, then put it down by the villagers so they can see it, but it can't hit them. the villagers will panic, and cause iron golems to spawn even faster
Does having multiple zombies rather than one also increase the speed?
@spthepero2282 not that I'm aware of! Just one should be enough! I literally have dozens of iron-block stacks, and am in the process of making 5-8 villagers that buy iron to get rid of it all lol
If you don’t have a name tag you can also make the zombie hold a item such as dirt or really anything
Does it need a name tag? I remember hearing that move won’t respawn if it can’t move 20 blocks in any direction

Unless you NEED a farm there is no point in doing it THIS way.
Result after 9 hours, yeah if you hand fill the chest, with this design you 1 iron golem every 15 minutes which would man you’d have a maximum of 180 iron ingot if you got a max iron drop every time. Or in other words a little under three stacks of iron.
As a Minecraft player I can confirm that this works on java
On bedrock not so much there it needs at least 10 villagers
