The clean shave looks good. Good change! Looks interesting. Only time I can remember ever being through Chicago was on a trip to get to the DZ at what was called then "Skydive Chicago" in La Salle in July,1998, to make big-way jumps. Quite a drive to the west though. I'll watch all of this. One of the coolest cycling movies ever, was filmed in Indiana called "Breaking Away" in roundabouts 1979.

Nice trip, some parts really look like the Netherlands. I know those days where it is 5 o'clock, and your campsite is still 40 KM, and you start worrying if you make it on time. Very stressful, but that is all part of the adventure. Cheers.
