Yes, it's harder but not too difficult. You'll want a shim for your top pins as you'll want to put the plug into the housing in the locked orientation so the sidebar can go into the groove undepressed. You'll need to push up on each side pin to clear the lip as it goes in, so often it's easiest to add each sodepin just as it's about to go into the core of the lock rather than putting them all into the plug before starting.
