Ive had sever asthma my entire life. Been on like 3? or 4 different control things from Advar to Quvar ect. The only side effects ive ever noticed from my albuterol is i Get shaky if I have to take many puffs. (When i say sever i mean it, had to be taking to the hospital via ambulance several times, I have to take 2 to 4 puffs for most things, up to 8 when it gets really bad. i have a nebulizer. I have to take steroids ever now and then. so yeah. i get shakey and my heart races sometimes are the only side effects Ive ever noticed lol
If the patient has underlying conditions that makes albuterol a beneficial agent to use in comparison to other medicines and therapies than doctors would prescribe it. Some people may have medicine allergies and reactions so albuterol could be helpful
The ONLY side effect I’ve ever experienced is heart racing if you have more than 2 puffs every 4-6 hours you’ll see what I mean but it’s okay you’re not gonna OD or anything unless you’re really hitting it alooooooot
I have wheezing but scared to use my inhaler its albuterol it says can make heart race and make u shaky or dizzy I dont wanna pass out or have hard time breathing what do u think and wheezing is cuz allergy
Don’t read the side effects on anything anymore. Ever. It will trick your mind into thinking that you’re going to have negative effects. I’ve been using my inhaler for 2 days with no issues. Then I come across this video and see all the side effects - which freak me out. However, I’ve had none at all and will forget every side effect I just learned about in this vid lol
And so here we are, in 2023 and there are several issues for people like me, living on the west coast, in the midst of 3 years or forest fires, can't open a window, can't go outdoors, and now a shortage of medicine. The pharmacy refused to give me my shipment if I don't pay an extra 300 dollahs. Now what are we supposed to do ???
What? Not only is Albuterol Beta...it is Beta 2? No thanks, I am an Alpha. I rather die of breathing than use something that is not only Beta, but Beta 2
This was very helpful thank you!

We’re the same. They told me to use medrol pack every now and then but I’m really scared of using steroids lol
So how do you know when to give albuterol if the patient is already coughing if it can make it worse

I’m not a doctor, but with someone with asthma if you don’t gimme my inhaler we fighting😤🤣
@@hackyou9548 Yes but we also have to determine if you need a SABA or a LABA. Either way I would most likely reach for the Albuterol
Thanks bud.

That only happens if you don't have asthma or if you use too much.
