Thank you for showing the grid once again for the newer quilters! Since I’ve been around since 1979 I was taught to think this way and I still do! To the newer quilters and those as a refresher, I think this is the easiest way to figure out your individual piece sizes - and it’s always easier if yiu end up having to trim as it’s pretty impossible to add fabric for a piece that is too small! Ask me how I know! I have a whole group of HST around somewhere that ended up too small and couldn’t be used for that particular block! I’ll eventually find them and probably have to trim down slightly for some other project😀😀😀

Wow! I love it! You have to be the best online. I keep telling my quilting friends, online and in my groups, that they have to go watch your videos AND subscribe! I still think you are the best to combine a block anyone can make PLUS the Accuquilt dies. Just wonderful! Thank you! You are SEW appreciated!

Really love this block and the offset placement for the quilt. I’m going to search your blog for articles on starching fabric and/or blocks. Thanks again for inspiration!

Wonderful! I don't know if I have an article, but what a great suggestion! I use liquid Sta Flo and dilute it 50-50 with water. Shake it up each time you use it. I starch before I cut the fabric ansdvery often while piecing the blocks. I usually starch the block when it is done. After you spray the starch on the fabric, let it dry You don't want to hear the sizzle when you put the iron down on the fabric. Hope this helps!

Oh yes it does help and I keep liquid Sta flo on hand. Thanks. @@CarolThelen

I like this block, Carol. I would make it in desert colors, which seems appropriate, being a squash blossom design. It would appeal to my husband, who loves the southwest. Thanks.

Thank you for another gorgeous design. So pretty, and interestingly asymmetric.
I really like that you make most of your blocks 12 inches. It's so easy to scale down if I want to. And I can plan a great sampler, simply by watching your videos. Thank you so much.
