I got the Neo back in April, the battery is better than the Sena I was using. Not being able to charge it on the go is one downside to the Neo. This looks like a good solution. Hope you have a great trip.
@MisplacedMotoVlogger Yeah, plugging into the battery pack while on our stops did work out great. Gave the NEO a little bit of charge at each stop and was able to keep working for the entire day. 👍
Nice that the power bank has two outlets like that! I know that if I use my Sena And I record a lot with it, I won't make the whole day riding with it so I have to plug it in. I do most of their recording so Tommy doesn't have that same issue lol.
I'm surprised the Neo won't charge while in use as all of my previous Cardos will even back to the original Q3. Nice that you found a good way to compensate..
Nothing more annoying than losing the comms as we hit the end of the day when trying to gas/eat/find lodging. I am astounded that we can't charge the Neo while using it. We can charge while using the old Packtalk Bold. I have a a battery bank about half the size of yours that i can put in my shirt pocket and a thin, short wire to run to the unit.

@MrEye4get I don't know how long it takes to fully charge from a power bank. I only plug into the power bank for about 15 to 20 minutes while on a little break. That little charge will bump the cardo back up a 1/4. I don't use eco mode. I hardly ever ride alone and I am always chatting back n forth with my brother. Thanks for stopping by and watching 👍

Yeah, the new Cardo Edge, I believe you can charge while using, though. But we bought the slightly cheaper Neo. Lol.

How long will it take to charge the Cardo fully with the 1,000 mAh power bank? Changing from DMC to Eco modes also extends battery life.
