Very old video of when I tried out for Northlane and wanted to move to Australia.

Thats why its good, his tone is a little bit different but thats the tone people are used to for the song so why not mimic it. Then when if he wins he can put his twist on things.

For all of those bashing this cover in any way... This cover was beyond incredible, stop being jealous. Any argument anyone has made on this so far is just fuckin stupid. He managed to put his own twist and personality on an already incredible track, and in my opinion make it more interesting. Hunter is a talented dude, and I'm certain that Northlane will take note of this audition.

I honestly listen to this version more than the real one ever since hearing it! The yelling with singing near the end part is just DEAD on and PERFECT, so much emotion, I love it, need to hear more of that for sure and hope you make it!

as stated on their facebook they said they would not like a carbon copy of Adrian and rather someone who puts their own emotional and creativeness into the song. I feel at parts Hunter nailed everything exactly as in the song and the original track. You nailed it 100% when it comes to the song. But more of your own creative flair and emotion would bring you to that next level.. Overall best audition I've seen so far and hope you get it dude. You deserve it.

They are professional musicians, they will notice the raw emotion, raw talent, and ability to mix and master in this audition and I imagine consider it with sincerety. A lot more to offer to a band than most.

Congrats, you're the first audition whom I could listen to more than 5 seconds of. You'd make a fitting replacement. You sound enough like their previous vocalist for it to work yet different enough to not be a copy-cat.

I've seen Hunter live with Silence a couple of times and I gotta say he really sounds great live. Northlane will be missing out if they don't pick him, I feel like he would be a great fit for the band especially since he has previous tour experience. Keep it up man look forward to seeing you join Northlane and if not I'm stoked for whatever comes from Silence in the future.
