😂😂You and me both when it comes to blushes. Honestly I don’t know how they snuck into my collection- a whole battalion of them just popped up in 2024.
It was NYX and Trigwell that really bumped the numbers up. The rest had been very gradual 🙈
I’m probably the odd watcher as I feel like I watch because of personality first and then content second. When new releases come out, it’s covered by an assortment of people and though I may watch some I’m interested in, I notice I don’t subscribe to most. I’m also finding that as I shift and change in my makeup journey there are some creators - not fault of their own, that I don’t watch so much because my interests and theirs have shifted away from each other. Still love them so I stay subscribed but don’t watch their content as much.
I say all this because I think it’s so important that if you want to be a well adjusted content creator who continues to enjoy what you are doing, do what you are excited about and what interests you because we the people can be fickle and we the people often shift in our desires and whatnots. As for your content specifically - for me I really enjoy your dry humour and your honesty about the products. I also enjoy your story telling abilities and would enjoy more of this side of your content. Otherwise, I definitely am rooting for your channel in 2025 being very fulfilling for you and enjoyable for us all❤

I think that people who like TH-cam are a bit more invested in the person in front of the camera. Not necessarily that you want to
know everything about them but you get a feel from them and then you think "I'll watch Robert Welsh's review because he'll give me the MUA perspective" or "I'll watch Allie D because I love that she's bubbly when she reviews stuff" or "I'll watch Blah because they're hilarious". It's harder to put a bit of who you are in a tiktok. ⏰

I ended up looking at the NYX blush I was interested in, but decided it is not the right pink so I’m totally fine not wanting anything right now 😊
