    Hey Demis, You are my hero. I am a beginner. You made me understand the essence of Trance. I got stuck before, but now the flow comes back. Thanks my friend.

    Hi Demis ! following your arp tuts are great. Some nice techings. I wonder when you say filling the gaps you put one note extra offbeat where G# is .. why?

      Just a mistake, well spotted. Talking and creating is challenging sometimes 🙂

    I often find with Serum presets there is an after crackle of reverb/delay when stopped suddenly or when the filter cut off is closed more

    • @demishellen
      @demishellen  ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Often I find that is due to using the compressor and OTT which makes attack and releases more obvious. Most of the time it can be sorted extending the attack or release. Most of the time it is release. 😎 But I know what you mean it can be annoying but easily fixed in some cases.

      It's not always the case. I find reverb/delay before the compressor is the main culprit.

      @@polznbladz3242 Can also just automate reverb/delay off when you don't want it

    Hi Demis, Any Chance you can link the video where you link Cthulu with other synths (say Dune etc) in Cubase please? ...Can't find it for the likes of me!

    Maybe I am wrong but root note is A# minor in this case, not F# major

    • @demishellen
      @demishellen  ปีที่แล้ว

      Correct but my intention is the A# will jump to F# in the main melody. The Jump helps increase elevation / give the uplift feel. I like to work at the different key and then use the main melody for change.
      But yes it is currently in A# major which is something I could mention next time when working in a similar way.👍🏻

      @@demishellen Hi, I think the main point is that it's in minor not major. If it were in major it would sound, well, very different I think.

    • @adamregan4921
      @adamregan4921 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@MrMikomi Yes. The key or scale is F# Maj, but the dominant melody example here is A# min Aeolian (the relative minor or 6th note in F# Maj scale).

    Cheers on the tutorials, just a bit of feedback the microphone in the video sounds quite tinny
