    Want to write a gripping story with a compelling message that will impact your readers on a deep level? In this video, I'm looking at a fascinating screenwriting concept: the conflict triangle with the stakes character. I dive into how this concept is used in modern films like "Iron Man 3" as well as classics of cinema including "It's a Wonderful Life" and "Casablanca" to tell powerful stories.
    The conflict triangle will help you:
    (1) Write a gripping plot so readers care about your protagonist.
    (2) Develop a convincing character arc for your protagonist so that they have an unforgettable transformation.
    (3) Weave a compelling message into your story that impacts readers on an emotional level.

    Great stuff. Helpful in clarifying how to deepen tension in both single events and story arc.

    Could the antagonist be an attitude the protagonist has to overcome by the end of the story.?

    • @InkwellMedia
      @InkwellMedia  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes, the antagonist can be within the protagonist's own self: their inner thoughts, like low self-confidence or greed or jealousy that are preventing them from reaching their goal.
