Haaland at 20: I'm getting old now
Haaland at 22: I'm still young
😂😂😂
He said it like joke when he was subbed with Youssoufa Moukoko who was 15/16 yrs
hes not wrong in either sentence
Benjamin Button of football))
Haaland at 23 will struggle with serious injuries.
Guardiola needs to keep him on a leash, as Erling thinks he's indestructable.
Being a true Viking....
What a humble guy, wasn't afraid to ask the interviewer the meaning of a word in English "relish" that he wasn't aware of 👏👏👏
Why should he be afraid is that guy anyone important lol
@@TheHealerr Go and check, these days none of the celebrities do it coz they think it makes them look below expectations.
@@goatkhandige5802 i think it's stupid they get paid so much yet in interviews they don't even be true to themselves. I feel like this generation of footballers will open up more.
@@TheHealerr they are not getting paid to do interviews
@@TheHealerr well yeah but im just talking about interviews and interviews are usually not meant to just be 'fun'
Obviously Erling is a very humble guy, but i need to give kudos to the interviewer. He was great, relaxed and seemingly made Erling feel relaxed aswell
very very good interviewer, so simple with him words, made everything understandable for erling to understand, explains his questions brilliantly
Watched him a lot at Dortmund. City fans you’re in for a treat (I’m jealous of you lot 😀). And his mentality is elite and he’s a great, charismatic personality.
Pretty sure city fans have seen him play before mate
@@kaisersose3872 we still appreciate it
Just happy to have him in the premier league…
I think he is going to have an insane season, he has a great attitude.
You have a Man City profile picture of course you think that.
I don’t think so, if I’m honest his year will be next year. He needs a season to get used to new teammates and peps style of play and city need to slightly amend how they play to fit haaland in. He might also get injured. I think this year he gets between 10-15 then next year he gets 25-30. Give him time and he will explode.
I think his overrated not aguero
@@vkjfv well yeah, he isn't the same style of player as aguero, but alvarez is...
@@jacklowe3037 at least he isn't going to the World Cup so does not have that risk of injury from that unlike many other players
He's 22 in body but 50 in mind..... With life experience & not fazed by the noise & hype surrounding him.
This is what separates him from 99% of footballers.
💙
Got to give Props to the father, taught him well.
Windows 9000 update OP YES YES BREHHH
Lol
There's too many cocky footballers who talk more then act. I'm glad Haaland keeps his head down and focuses on his job
Ra Ra Ra
It was funny watching his post match interview against West Ham. He’s so humble. He was like “we’ll get them next time, I know we can do better” like bro you already DID get them and you played phenomenally😂
He’s going to set the world on fire 🔥
David, give your head a Wobble, in, son.
Tust me I have been watching him for years big up from a Toon Fan
By setting the world on fire you mean be a fully grown man kicking a ball around a field earning millions while billions of our fellow humans are starving and homeless as the ignorant brainwashed middle class is worshipping him for playing a silly made up nonsensical game.
Nah mate, that’s climate change ☠️
already has.
Don’t support city but I’m so excited to watch this guy in the PL I’ll be watching every city game
Same!

Amazing maturity for someone who is just 22 and this guy will be great not just because of his football skills and goal scoring but more because of his humility and beautiful personality...
Big ups to Haaland as usual, humble and down to earth but still brimming with confidence. Very good interviewer as well!
I'm a huge Man City fan and am so pleased and happy that he signed for us. He's so humble and settled in really quickly and he gets on so well with his teammates. His goalscoring is a thing of beauty and he's a joy to watch. He's a really nice young man.
I'm here after he scored 2 goals against West Ham
Really good questions from the interviewer. Makes Erling feel very comfortable as well.
He's asking intelligent questions not dumb questions like what's his favorite show on Netflix lol
Dude is a machine. He is still young and looks forward to improving. He chose to go on the more difficult path (a team where a striker is sort of a Second class citizen) instead of another elite level team. He will either shine and reach incredible heights or fail at City. Either way it will be a sight to see.
Haaland improving: that's a really scaring thing 🙄
I heard somewhere he is still growing taller… he’s an alien football monster!
Erling can also go to Barca or Real in 3-4 years...
difficult path? Raheem Thiccling had 20 goals a season at City. Hes a great player but he definitely did not choose the difficult path but the one that would get him the most goals
@@14ucls not really. He could have gone to Bayern or stayed at Dortmond (or Madrid, psg, Barca, Liverpool etc..) but he instead goes to a coach and team that regularly don’t even play strikers. Sterling got 20 goals because he is a great player in a system designed to benefit wide players.
Really like this guy. So refreshing compared to most boring, cliched, depressed footballer interview. He speaks like a human being.
He's young and hungry footballers are the best at this stage he is ready to take on the world
Who can say he is just 22 , he really is a good humble boy looking to become a greater man now.
Looking forward for this season , his mentality is good , he has good match understanding, he gona do good this season, can't wait to watch 👍👍👍😎😎😎

Yes you mess with Erling he destroys your club.
You mess with Man City, they buy your club and burn it down!
This is by far the best interview 💯💯💯
I’m an arsenal fan and I’m so happy to see him in the premier league. I might regret that statement when we play Man City
You’d lose against them anyways
you have jesus and zinchenko brooo two gems! I am sure yall will do great
Lol
Me too
City has gifted you this prem .
I never thought I’d like Halaand more then Mpaypal but Mbappe is all ego now so Halaand gotta be a goat striker
Amazing to see a young talent with an old wise and hungry head on him.. If the money makes him happy good he deserves it because hes so dedicated to football and its refreshing to see these days .
Did not know much about him until I did some research on him. He is going to be great. Breath of fresh air. Even the likes of Fergie and going way back Clough would sit up and take notice. Seems a decent/humble lad. Stay injury free. Keep doing what you are doing.
As a Norwegian it’s funny to hear how he has acquired a German accent to his English without ever talking German
Å joda, han har nok snakket nok av tysk. Men altså ja.... han må droppe den aksenten der nå haha.
Haaland snakker en del tysk..
Norwegians from the west coast speak English with a German accent…Go to Stavanger and you will hear this with everyone who has an accent, because the dialect is influenced by German and Danish, not Swedish like in the east.

If he puts his head down, he might just be the best striker we’ve ever seen in the premier league.
i agree mate i think he will be
Try to be more hysterical
Allan shearer, Thierry henry, Eric Cantona, Ronaldo, Rooney, Andy Cole. He has a very very long way to go and he will only stay in the prem for a few seasons before he goes to Spain lol definitely won't be a legend in the Premier league

Unfortunately I’m a united fan but I’ve gotta say I’m happy this guy is in the prem, amazing player with an amazing mindset this guy is going to be a legend he’s already world class and only 22

Monstrous Mentality.

He's a great player with a nice personality and he's really cute too, though he's way younger than me, can't help but love him. Glad he's joined my team. CTID.

I am loving this dude!
Q. How would you describe yourself as a person?
A. I love to laugh, I love to have fun, to do a bit of fun. But in the end really a relaxed person who wants to relax and have fun.
With the service he is going to be getting and the kind of player he is he should be bagging 30 to 40 + goals a season if he doesn’t score at least 30 this season I would be shocked
Great observations as last night he got 32 for the premier league alone
He'll Adapt to be a good product for City
Jeff is a great interviewer!! Props to him. Geoff is a great interviewer. Brought the best out of an often terse Haaland.
How did you write two different spellings of him in two sentences
Haaland isn't terse lol he's not given short answers in interviews in 3-4 years lol
@@adityamozumdar383 hah 😂👍😂
Cheers Geoff
Who's here after Haaland's debut brace?
The only doubt about him I have is if he can stay fit ( last year he got derailed by injuries ), other than that I got no doubts he will score plenty of goals, he’s got hunger for scoring and he will show it.
He’s too fragile
@@HH-qz1cg yea it's like his body overgrowed in his early days, and he was putting it under pressure since he was like 4 because of his father
What are you, a doctor ?

Just give him time to gel with the players..look at what pep did with sterling
Definitely one of those guys who has a winning mindset
Definitely a great player and seems to be a great person too 👍
amazing player and an amazing guy, think he may struggle at first tho as its much more physical in the premier league! but if he stays here for a good period of time, he can be one of the best strikers in history!
How will he struggle with physicality of the prem come on stop talking non sense
U rly gonna say haaland is going to struggle cause of physical play? Haaland is definition of physical. Already did 2 goals in first gameweek.
When he went from Austria to Germany, people said the same things… but he had an amazing start in the German Bundesliga…
Now here in England, same things are be said, but he gives the same reaction.
This lad will become a premiership champion. Gifted and grounded
his humble quality and willing to learn will make him a much greater player than C ronaldo
he humblely sleep alone every night to get a good sleep
I learned that "relish" means look forward too...and another 10 other things 😂😂
Its typical for (us) Norwegians to use the word "nice" all the time. Im sure he means "great", "amazing", "fantastic" etc, but "nice" always seem to be the safer/more familiar option 😂
It's obvious English is second language 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 he's learning which is cool unlike Messi who refuses to learn another language

I really like him! I'm a westham fan and when he slapped us last week I couldn't even have the hump 🤣
Beast mode
Just an FYI: he's telling the interviewer how to pronounce his name for the English speaker haha It's an "å" sound the "aa" makes in "Haaland" in Norwegian not a normal "a" sound. Note how differently he says Erling when he pronounces it in Norwegian.
9:10 “Live, laugh, love” would’ve been the best answer
"People talk about what you did a year ago but ts the next game that counts"
Brace on his league debut, Sergio did the same, nothing left to say apart from Shearer kiss your goal record goodbye, 258 to go…
If he stays fit I think city will equal the invincibles season.
