I honestly felt this way about him. He is a pure striker. It’s about scoring goals. And while some might say he can’t dribble like Messi or Ronaldo, i think it suites him better to focus on goal scoring opportunities. We cannot ignore that a striker that dribbles a lot puts himself in a risky position where he can get injured by hard tackles or just wearing out his body. The idea of just find the places where you can score is clever. Plus physically, Haaland can push away defenders which is also to his advantage. I hope he will have a long career.

he’s still young, hungry and motivated..every young players should have that positive mentality
It’s a shame many don’t though. I think a lot of young players get complacent way too early in their careers. As soon as they get their first big contract they think they’re “it”. Haaland’s attitude is what all young players should aspire to have

I mean, Haaland has all the right attributes for the absolute perfect striker. Physicality, technicality, speed and mentality where everything is 10/10. Haaland is about to define the new limits of what's possible to be expected from the future generation of strikers.

@@vanitazazas honestly I still don’t see him surpassing Messi’s best seasons yet. He’ll need a good upgrade in his technicality especially. Because technicality is what truly allows you to make something out of the small time frame and space you’re given.

People say he have to do this and that for 15 yrs to reach R7. Not true. Because his ratio is way higher so he would reach it in 2/3ds of the time. Closer to half the time right now. But let's be critical. Because saying 2/3ds is being critical as it stands. When he's at his end station, level wise.

Pointing out Haaland wanting to be better than Messi ad Ronaldo isn't wrong, but the real Reason, the Real Motivator for him was to score more than Robert Lewandowski, Arguably one of the greatest Strikers DURING the Ronaldo and Messi era.

Give it a good 6-7 years and you will see a different football that doesn't have a flair to it, where players like Messi being a far-fetched dream and all you will see is pressing, running restlessly and clones of Mbappe and at that time, no records, no goals, no style or chicness will matter and the only thing that will matter will be who can press for 90 minutes non-stop.
