That was great. This video made six years ago, and by chance I find it (almost ten years to the day of the trip I made to Congress) Iwas searching for a long lost relative and suspected he may have been buried in the pioneer cemetary in Congress. (I had been on a family research mission, and was trying to place my grandfathers long lost brother. Diging on the internet I found some bits and pieces & felt compelled to find out more. So, From Canada, a friend and I flew to vegas, rented a car & made our way to see the pioneer cemetary - To our amazement - we found his grave stone there. Still knowing very little about him, his life, & history, this video has reignited my passion for searching out my kin and finding out more about the peoples of the past. On that trip to Congress, I didnt have time to learn anything about the area nor its fascinating history. Watching this & hearing your fascinating stories, I now know ... I must make another trip to learn more about the amazing peoples of the past - adventurous strong, & resiliant folk. Thanks for keeping history alive.

In the 70s I was a very young and had been out watching some land about 10 miles out and was kind of left there roaming the deserts by myself and staying in a 10' trailer with nothing but a bed and a crane that I would climb each night watching a pack of coyotes go by
I had only bread and popcorn to eat and use to walk into Congress to get it and water as it was all I could scrape up to buy .in my adventures out and about I found gold in many places and to this day this area has always been one of my favorites even though it was lonely and I starved ...someday I would like to write about my adventures there and things no one probably knows about
But with a 6 grade education has kept me from it cause I'm embarrassed about my writing...
Thank you for sharing as it opened up my child hood memories of the good, bad and ugly life I lived

Your grammar is just fine. I lived in Congress Junction on the 80's with my grandmother and STILL have family living there. I really do miss that town. I went thru there a few years back to reminisce and the whole entire town has grown. It is so depressing to go somewhere that is filled with memories just to realize that only 5% of what I remember is still there.l, so if you were there in the 70:s... Uh... I don't know... You MIGHT outta go check it out before what is left of the old disappears
