Shame Pacers lost this game. Hawks were never a chance against the Magic in the second round. The eye socket injury of Reggie Miller came at the worst time of the season for the Pacers. However, Pacers were predicted to win this series even without Miller playing.
The same thing happened to the Hawks the next year, Detroit was highly anticipated to move on to the 2nd round for the dream matchup of Grant Hill vs. Michael Jordan & Scottie Pippen. I'd say this was a bigger upset though considering this is before Dikembe Mutombo came to Atlanta.

Him and Penny were so damn good but Hill made the Hof because of his college championships as well of being a 7x all star in the nba. Hill missed basically 4 years in a row and somehow played very good with the magic and suns . Penny had a great 4 or 5 year run but was never the same or even close after getting injured in 97 or 98.
