Waterproofs in July

A ride out with my local TRF group, led by Dean and Charlotte.

We set off from Wimblington to the first lane, where I promptly got crossed up in a rut. Not a good start, lots of wet grass to start with and I spent most of the morning nervously sliding about on the grass. Easier on the Norfolk Gravel once passed Kings Lynn. Trails that were familiar made it a little easier. Trying to keep up with Dean was less easy and led to a few scary moments. The chalky trails were very slippery. Tom picked up a puncture so we lent a hand to get him going again. Lunch at Hunstanton and a decent route back to the start on lanes that were new to me.
Overall a cracking day on the 890, great bunch and decent trails.
