Lovely! i do play Mono blue merfolk tribal too and i love it, my deck is similar to yours, but more budget ahahaha also i use Mihail as the Commander, i really like him
They are a ton of fun to play! I ended up going mono blue because I wanted her as my commander and I am trying to build a mono colored deck for each color lol. Who do you run as your commander for simic merfolk.
While she is indeed a blue merfolk, that is a pretty fringe wincon for this deck haha. How would you envision using her in the deck? Just as a way to filter through the top cards or as she is used in most cedh decks? Thanks for watching!
@@houseofheresy1051 well your defiler of dreams with cards like Vanquisher's banner could just draw a lot of cards and make a lot of devotion to blue as well as thinning your library to the point where Thassa's oracle would be a strong follow up. And you could also use it to find cards that could get you out of a bad situation. Cards like cyclonic rift or pongify are good options, or just find any other key card to make your board stronger asuming you have lot of devotion to blue because lot of the merfolks costs 2 blue mana to cast
