Ty for putting this up.. I had this on vinyl way back.. used to have a room..just my technics and a wall of speakers. The whole hood listened whether they wanted to or not. (Never had any probs) 🎉
So awesome. Always loved this song. Didn't know it was a collaboration project by Ministry and Cabaret Voltaire, that's interesting to know. Thanks for uploading this rare gem!
Yes , Acid Horse is one of many side projects . It's funny because no matter what group/project Chris Connolly sings in I know it's him . His awesome but monotone vocals always give him away 😎
This is all Paul Barker on this record with Cabaret Voltaire on keyboards, Bill Rieflin on drums, Al Jourgensen on the guitar and Chris Connelly on the mic. Paul retired from the rock industry and he's involved with the very successful Malekko company nowadays. They make synthesizer modules and guitar pedals. And they also make the very amazing Roland 500 series modules for the Japanese behemoth. It seems to me he landed on his feet alright.
Oh wow!! The Riv. Medusa. The Metro. Crobar. Shelter. These were my spots for all my alternative, industrial and punk& newwave music. Damn I fukn miss those days!!
96.5 Alternative Static in Houston played this and also a version of it that skipped like a broken record. I still have my 12" with the giant sheet of acid on the inside.
@@hf_313 no it's Chris Connolly. I can spot Chris Connolly's monotone voice a mile away 🤣. If you play Rubber gloves Seduction by PTP Youll see what I mean . He sings that song as well
CabVolt did the remix on the b-side, which is okay, but not as good as the original version. The CabVolt mix distorts the voice, which takes points off. See, I like Al's lyrics, but I just hate all that speedy thrash metal guitar. Doesn't do a thing for me.
Might we know what you would consider not a "load of crap"? My guess is that you were still being bottle fed this came out and couldnt tell me any group on the Waxtrax label without consulting your handheld device?
LOVE THIS TRACK
Same driving beat as Blancmange's "Blind Vision". Fabulous song.
