Ah, I like a bit of urban decay. I'm thinking aloud here, but I wonder if it might be worth you putting a stepladder in your boot? Although, I suppose that could look a bit suspicious. 😄
Thanks Rich. It’s good to think in the moment and take on board your surroundings rather than get to where you’re going and think… how did I get here?! Abandoned places are so full of character
Another interesting project for us to follow, thanks. I can see why you might want to include fences but sometimes you may not. There is a really good place near Stirling Station for photographing the various steam trains that pass through but it has a 6 ft fence so I take a set of foldable steps when I go there. Something to consider? Cheers.
Thanks Keith. Let’s see what materialises with the project. I’ve recently cut down on the volume of bulk I carry around, such as the use of a tripod. Not sure my back pack also has the capacity of carrying step ladders. We shall see though 🧐
Love it... more please.
Thanks Ian. More will come 👍
Nice idea for a project. Looking forwards to seeing how it evolves 👍🏽
Many Thanks. Let see what it brings 👍
My kind of photography when I get in the zone!

I need to do more of it! I suppose I could pretend to be a window cleaner…. cleaning the erm… broken windows 🧐
@@JamesRBurnsVLOG We'll have a whip around to bail you out. 😄
Nice video, James. Makes me want to start paying attention on my way to work. Looking for abandon places to go photograph later on.

2nd building has a northlight roof which maximises natural light into the building but minimises glare
Walter frank is fire hydrants and fire protection gear factory. Nice shapes to the building.
Cheers, I thought it was some kind of engineering company. Any idea how old the building is?
@@JamesRBurnsVLOG sorry I don't but peg mills was there in the 1800's there is a plaque somewhere to recognise riots that occured

Something about old abandoned buildings and b/w. Sometimes the history is fascinating. Oh, If they could talk
There is something about the nostalgia and trying to extract that into a photo. Cheers John.
Urban decay, plenty of it, mind you I am in the countryside and there is plenty of rural decay too.
It’s a very interesting subject, especially when access is ok. Cheers Iain👍
