Hi Mike. Great videos so thank's. Is it possible to automatically lower the rhythm of a song at the end of it? Do you know how to do it? I've heard it on many songs, but it's midi files. I'd like to do it on the songs I make with my Genos
Thanks for your great tutoring. When I play my Genos , the sound is fading in and fading out. This happens when playing any style or voice. Please show me the way to fix that back to normal. Thanks so kindly for your help.
I program a style per a reg. bank. Each bank includes one style and 10 voices to be played with that style. I rarely program different styles on each reg. button for two reasons: 1) I have to use the freeze button a lot which is easy to be forgotten during the performance and can lead to unexpected results. 2) I am forced to use the same 10 voices for each style. I find it more logical to program a style at the bank level rather than at the button level. I even name the bank to be the same as the style name. And Genos gives you UNLIMITED number of banks.
There is no need to program that way if you put 10 songs in each Bank. You can just create your favorite sounds Banks and use the freeze button after you pick a song in the bank. also banks and song titles can go in the playlist and is easy to find the song you want that way. I would not waste an entire bank for each song. If you watch my saving to OTS you can program 4 sound for each song into OTS and use freeze to also have your favorite sound bank. Much easier my way in my opinion. Have fun, Mike
The thing is that I am using reg. Sequence a lot and it's saved at the bank level and it's only one sequence. In fact, reg. Sequence is a clear evidence that Yamaha has designed an entire bank to be played for one style. Although your approach is fine in reducing the number of banks, it still eliminates the usage of reg. Sequence. As I pointed out, Genos provides an unlimited number of banks. So, don't worry about wasting bank resources. And good job Mike for the amazing video.

Also, you don't seem have the logical response to what I've said. All I said is that registration sequence cannot be used properly in your configuration. Setting styles on each memory button is the dumbest thing I've ever heard. Take a close look to the banks presets and you will know what I am talking about. Your response also shows how ignorant you are and instead of discussing, you opened hell upon me. Sounds very unprofessional for a 60's expert.
You can easily see that Mike Mixon loves what he does. He provides a great service to the keyboard community. Great work Mike!

you can try and do a soft reset. hold last key down on the right while powering up genos. It will say initializing
