When I first started with Fumefx I felt so overwhelmed. So much to learn, so many options and settings to adjust. I am learning now to accumulate knowledge in separate servings instead of all at once. Thanks for making this video.
When I enable GPU viewport display, the simulation doesn't update real time. Like if play the sim, nothing shows up in the viewport. Any solution to this?
How would you have a fire flicker out/ extinguish? For example from frames 0-100 is the fire but at frame 100 the fire starts to die down, and then at frame 150, it dies down completely?
What do you recommend for PC Specs? Should I go towards more CPU Threads or Memory? Also, would it be much faster to simulate using a network of server blades?
Higher clock will do better than more cores and there is lots of memory operations, so at some point more core does not bring any significant speed improvement.

Thank you for this video, i have a small question.
What are your pc specs?
Hello,
This video was done by an outside source and we're not aware of his PC specs.
doesnt even show how to load the plugin or tool bar... fail!!
In 3ds max, after installation the plugin is automatically loaded and toolbar is available as with any other plug-in or 3ds max toolbars/
luiz... right click the top toolbar and choose fumefx
