    I think making comparisons also plays a big part in personal happiness. If you can find contentment in the things you have now, and try hard not to judge yourself based on what other people possess it will have a positive impact on your happiness ❤️

      Reminds me of that one episode of Bluey called baby race that deals with comparisons that parents always do to there children but mostly to themselves.

    I know you probably wont see this, but THANKYOU for making your videos and being consistent with your content. It reminds me that I dont have to be perfect and that it's okay to have a good day, a nice day appreciating the little things like the sunshine, a slice of toast and coffee on a cold day. And that takes a huge weight off my shoulders, I am able to focus and relax instead of taking 2 hours to decide whether I deserve breakfast, what to eat, how to eat, cleaning, feeling guilty, cant concentrate afterwards. Instead I just get up, think I am hungry? Make myself a warm cup of coffee and go for a walk ❤

    There hasn't been an ordinary day here in the US in 2020. This spring, we were all furloughed. Since August, I got Covid and thus lost my job (the pneumonia stays a really long time, I'll be okay eventually, 3 months though-still sick, no job security here after 2 weeks). We lost our kitty to cancer last week. For Christmas, I will be having surgery, hopefully the hospitals won't be overwhelmed again. I really need my tonsils out, I call them my throat monsters, they need to go.
    I like to watch your videos and have breakfast with you, but it doesn't seem like there has been an ordinary day. Things are very stressful. I do appreciate the few minutes of peace, but it's just a momentary escape, reality is too real here. I hope 2021 will be a better and healthier year. I do enjoy having pancakes and toast with you from across the world! ❤️🙂

    I graduate high school next week. I honestly have no idea what I am doing or going to do, but I hope it'll be something I enjoy and am really good at. With an optimistic look into the future, I am definitely getting a pair of Vivaia shoes and some RareRoom merch once I've settled into my own place! I'm so glad to have been introduced to the simple and minimal lifestyle at an early stage in my life. I can now take this with me into adulthood and it'll be easier to choose a color palette/furniture😂 Much love from the US🤎

    I like your videos very much. I like when you said that we can be grateful that at least we have food even if it's the same everyday. I learned a lot from you in these videos. Thank you.

    I don't know why but this video made me cry.. I just realized how much life quality I lost from my depression.. I can't find joy in anything anymore. Every new day is just so overwhelming .. I have no friends, my family doesn't care and I can't pull myself out of this hole alone. It is nearly impossible to find help where I live but I can't move because I have no job due to depression.. It's like an endless cycle

      Oh, I feel you because that was me a few months ago. Please do not lose hope, try to make ever so tiny little changes in your life, and it will come back together. Try to be gentle with yourself, and trust the process will lead you to a more-fulfilled life. No need to take big actions. As long as you add small changes on a regular basis, your life will change altogether before you are aware of it.
      My supporting thoughts your way 🙇🏽‍♂️

      if i could give any advice it would be to slowly get yourself back into basics. make sure you’re getting enough sleep, stay hydrated, prepare proper meals for yourself and get a little bit of exercise in each day, even if its only a small walk. these things arnt big, but when implemented consistently they can make all the difference. try to only make one change at a time though, that way things wont feel as overwhelming. take care of yourself and remember that no matter how hard it may be right now, nothing ever stays the same. you are going to come out of this :)

      Lycanroc as a person who has been in your shoes before, all I can tell you is that to be kind to yourself and take things one day at a time. Things can and will turn around, I promise! I know times are hard, but try to find a doctor that can help. There are doctors with sliding pay. Some even allow payment installments. Maybe disability claim is a possibility. In the mean time, focus on your little accomplishment. It can be as small as taking a shower or picking up five pieces of clothing off the floor. Stay strong!

    I struggle understanding what's your content about these days. I'm a long time subscriber and I liked the content from before. Now is just promoting stuff and treating yourself, not my personal choice. I liked when you went out of your way doing stuff, cooking, I had much to learn from your calmness, now it feels like you're on a perpetual holiday, enjoying the benefits of all the hard work from before. I bet you are still working hard and having an easier life all in all, so that I'm happy for.

    • @elizabethkosmetatou5367
      @elizabethkosmetatou5367 3 ปีที่แล้ว +14

      I agree. The previous videos were spontaneous, the current ones are basically promotion and are repeatedly interrupted by too many commercials, more than any other channel of a similar content. I understand the need for you, Rhea, to earn money, but the reason your channel is successful is because of its originality, and now it is losing its character. That said, I am happy for you and wish you all the best.

      I don't mind her advertising the watch or shoes. I've seen you tubers go over kill and make half the video an ad for diapers.

      We're all (including Rhea), just trying to navigate our life as best as we can. You're right, she is probably enjoying the benefits of the hard work from before. But that's not to say that it's any easier or that the way she's living is any less meaningful to her or to us. I would argue that not having a solid 9-5 has its own stresses that she doesn't show in videos. Maybe it's not the same as it was before, but nothing ever is. She's moving forward and progressing in life and she's doing it probably the best she knows how right now. Despite the journey of how her content may be changing - I think it's important to support growth.

      Her content did change, but she talked to us about it in one of her Q&A videos. I truly understand, why she is making more sponsored videos, because her whole living situation has changed. She is no longer working in an office job that gives her the financial security and making TH-cam videos is not as lucrative as it might seem. Sponsorships do help, but yes, there is a difference to her previous videos.
      Thank you for not bashing her and stating your opinion in a very respectful way. It is rare to see it nowadays.
      Wishing you all an amazing day and just the best
      Lara

    Love the video, Rhea Y.
    But i have a question.
    Why are vegetables and fruits packed in plastic in japan? Apples and eggplants have a natural, perfectly protective skin. They don't need any additional plastic protection. Even the bananas were in plastic?
    Why is that a thing in Japan?

    • @jessicah3450
      @jessicah3450 3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Sometimes the kids like to sink their teeth into them and people squish the fruits too much to check for ripeness. Some markets here do wrap them, some don't. I think it makes it more efficient with the robotic check outs too.

      @@Sarah_Grant Not all of it. And:
      "Twenty-three percent of collected plastic is recycled materially and just 4 percent is recycled chemically. The remainder is burned. Other countries do not consider burning to be a recycling process. In fact, burning plastic is frowned upon in many places. The problem with material recycling is that the material itself is degraded when it is recycled, so there’s a limit to its efficiency. Chemical recycling requires a lot of energy and resources, so it is uneconomic. Thermal recycling is possible because plastic is derived from crude oil. They burn easily and produce lots of electricity, but also have the same negative environmental impact as fossil fuels."

      I think the reason why japan uses that much plastic is due to a poisoning incident once in a grocery.
      I read somewhere that jaoanaese residents are required to segragate the trash themselves, and if they don't do it properly, they bring your trash back to you.
      I think it's not that bad, hygiene-wise. My country doesn't use that much plastic like japan but it's more polluted, maybe 2 or 3 times worse lol.
