Non è la sola cosa che manca al calcio italiano e alla nazionale, mancano soprattutto giocatori di qualità, che saltino l'uomo, che sappiano calciare le punizioni, i calci d'angolo, manca la fantasia, giocatori che "inventino la giocata", mancano giocatori di "corsa" e di personalità che sappiano "comandare e guidare il gioco", in poche parole manca la tecnica individuale, ed è l'ultima cosa che viene insegnata oggi addirittura a ragazzini di 8-10-12-14 anni, quelli sono gli anni in cui i ragazzini dovrebbero essere allenati tutto il tempo sulla tecnica, dovrebbero stare quasi tutto il tempo con "il pallone tra i piedi" durante gli allenamenti, devono sentirsi liberi di dare sfogo a tutto il loro estro, alla loro inventiva nella giocata singola e corale, invece di fracassargli le p.. già a quell'età con la tattica, gli schemi, il tenere la posizione, i movimenti.., diventa anche noioso andare ad allenarsi per un ragazzino se non lo si lascia libero di esprimersi, di creare, di DIVERTIRSI COL PALLONE TRAI PIEDI; altrimenti diventa noioso tanto quanto andare a ripetizione di matematica se gli rompi le p.. con la tattica, la teoria, gli schemi, quando poi non gli insegni neanche a stoppare un pallone, a fare un passaggio di 5 metri...mi spiego?

Gattuso is a criminally underrated player. I remember when he first came to Scotland and he turned the game on it's head; he could be ferocious, passionate, hard, but ridiculously skillfull. Thought he was so much better than his move to Salernitana suggested and he proved this by joining Milan a year later for what was then a huge fee (£7m if memory serves). He truly went on to fill every bit of that potential and then some
