Isagi drew nagis competitive spirit, the same way ego drew isagis dream to be the best striker.
While isagi took his first step to become a better striker, nagi took his first step to take something seriously.
@jostincenteno798 I agree with this. Nagi and Isagi are both players who lacked their ego heavily at the start and as soon as they tap into it they can make miracles happen. One reason I think Nagi will get closer to being the best striker, because Isagi is moreso made to be a midfielder. A good one ofc but a midfielder nonetheless. Barou tho.. and this is bias talking, but he'll be super close to being the best. I FEEL it in my SOUL!!

Maybe it's just because I'm so used to Japanese voice acting but if they didn't show the pictures of the people who're speaking, I would've never guessed who actually was. The voices sound incredibly samey to me

Yeah I'm someone that prefers dubs typically and even I have to agree that a lot of the characters sound very similar. It does sound like the va's are starting to get into their rhythms a bit with certain characters and thus giving them their own distinct edges but with the number of characters that Blue Lock introduces, I worry for how things will progress.
Are they all voiced by one actor?????

It’s a shame that in the end he has lose his ego, I hope he doesn’t drop out and tries to become the best striker, instead of only trying to beat Isagi(which isn’t stimulating him anymore after he “defeated” Isagi by going backwards, by asking Reo to make him score😢)
Well he doesn't have much of a ego just goals he wanted to accomplish, even though i dont think he went backwards just because he asked reo to help him, reo is still gonna push him forward
@@digchiz8174 he went backwards cause he needed to be indipendent from others, just think of the game Rin vs Isagi in 2nd selection. Isagi and Rin were seeing the same things, but Isagi was losing to Rin for his physical, Nagi realised that so he changed the pieces on the board and made the team score(he scored). That action was him pushing forward becoming a better player, someone that can change the game thanks to his innate abilities and his understanding of the game(the thing he lacks and that needs to get to become a better player). In last game he asked Reo instead of trying to break his limits, he just waited for Reo to pass him so he could score, so he lets Reo try to get him in the position to score, something he needed to understand himself. Obviously he didn’t get weaker after that game, but right now he is in danger, because he needs to get away from that mentality otherwise he won’t became the best striker( and he wasted a chance to get better in the game vs Isagi leaving everything to Reo)
@@alfonsofezza5863 Nagi just needs to score goals, the method doesn't matter. Because even the best strikers in the world occasionally lose games. So there is no "right" method to playing soccer, just winners and losers.
I don't think asking Reo for help is a sin. He clearly has good ideas, while Nagi's lack of creativity comes from a lack of experience.

@alfonsofezza5863 You both make good points. Nagi lacks creativity and experience, something Reo helps him with, but it also holds him back from learning these things on his own. So both things are true.
The reason I side a bit more with the other guy is because he's in a world where everyone knows what they do. I somewhat relate to him because I played rugby for the first time in Highschool and whilst inexperienced had to play against the best kids in the province because I was talented. I knew nothing about the game really, but I knew how to do my role well enough. Everyone else grew up with the sport tho. So it was really my few months experience at best, vs their years of working for this and getting to know everything. I didn't qualify, but the mistake I made was relying too much on who I know and what I know. Never pushing to try more than what I could or developing plays with people I barely knew or people that can teach me.
Nagi needs people to teach him. To open up new avenues, new ways to play. And then he needs to be put in the deep end and make magic with what he knows and see how far he can go. That's how he'll grow.
