- In this video I'm sharing with y'all my 1 HOUR DAILY CLEANING ROUTINE. I take you along with me as I show you how I keep my house clean using this simple cleaning routine. This idea was given to me by my sweet friend and sister in Christ, Melodie. I've been using this method now for a few years and it just keeps getting better now that the kids are old enough to help. ;)

I love my Alexa timers! Kid's quiet reading time, laundry, time-outs... timers keep me on track too!
YES! Sometimes I have to get on Alexa like I do my kids though. She just doesn't listen! 😂
Hey Dina, love the timer idea. Timers can be so motivating. Love the idea of not leaving the room till the timer goes. I'm excited for this series. One idea for a video would be how to teach littles how to clean. Or what jobs they can do.

When do you vacuum or mop or do laundry? What do you do if you get interrupted? I tried this today, and 20 minutes into the routine, the plumber showed up (an hour early). Do you pick back up after school or start over tomorrow? I appreciate the simplicity and timer in this routine!
Hi Jennifer! I vacuum on Saturdays and do laundry throughout the week. I actually have a separate video about laundry. 😁
Interruptions are bound to happen. I either just pick it up where I left off later in the day or the next day. What's great is that if you're consistent on doing this daily, missing a day won't be a big deal. 😉😁 And know I will get to it tomorrow helps me not feel overwhelmed when I see a mess. ❤ I hope this helps!

Yes! My older kids have started to have their own zones they're responsible to keep clean and they've asked....why do we clean if it's only gonna get dirty again??? Feeling their frustration, the only thing I could come up with is...For His glory and our good kids....For His glory and our good. ❤️

It really does. I get distracted VERY easily. 🙃 So knowing I only have a certain amount of time to get this done helps me to stay focused. 🤓
I really need to try this, I feel like I am cean all day long and the home doesn't look like I did anything most of the time.
Do you take more than five minutes to do the dishes and clean up the tables after dinner?
Sometimes if it needs it I'll do 10 min. But I try to only do it for that long so I can spend time with the family. 😁
1 hour a day and then 30 mins later it’s a mess again lol 🤣 that’s my house. I’m trying to enjoy all the chaos but it’s stressful 😞
Oh I know girl! That's why I have to do this. It helps me stay calm in the chaos knowing I'll just clean it up tomorrow. 😉❤
