d is least distance of distinct vision which is always positive, in case of compound microscope the final image formed by eye piece is always virtual and formed at least distance of distinct vision. Hence d=-qe or qe=-d

d is taken +ve but as d=-qe so whenever qe comes we have to put -ve and when d comes for that we will take it +ve check both ques they are same

Pehle dono denominators ko 250 kiya
10 ko multiply and divide by 25 kiya and 125 ko divide and multiply by 2 kiya.

Question me mentioned hai "sharp focus", it means image least distance of distinct vision per ban rha hai isliye q=-d=-250 mm liya jayega.

Yes, qe is always taken negative because final image of compound microscope is always virtual and for virtual image negative sign is used.
